Exceptional range of fish and plants! The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Cam also runs an incredibly interesting YouTube channel and blog which covers a lot of the basics which is helpful to a newbie like me. Overall an amazing shop and definitely worth the visit!

Very cool aquarium store, fish live in nice conditions in planted tanks. Lots of aquascaping materials. Owner is very friendly and gives good advice either in person or online.

What a total treasure this shop is. I never knew how amazing fish were as a pet until my teenage son decided to get into it. Cam is amazing and has been so good to my son and so helpful.

Awesome local fish shop. They have a stunning Asian Arowana in the window which is definitely something to check out. The owner Cam is really friendly and helped me out in buying these discus. You can tell he cares about the fish and wants to see them in good homes. I can't wait to have these beauties on display in my home ! We'll be back for sure

I Was looking for a breeding bristlenose pleco, they reached out to me and I purchased a beautiful female. All the tanks look great and have no unhealthy/dead stock unlike what iv seen in several other pet/fish stores around the Auckland area. Super neat little store. I’ll be recommending them to others for sure.

There's a reason why this place got 16 5 star reviews!I wanted to buy an axolotl and The Aquarium Project helped me throughout the entire set up process, from filter selection to building a custom aquarium stand. One of the noteworthy service they provide is the aquarium installation/maintenance service. The Aquarium Project sent a team over to help install the tank and teach me about tank maintenance.Would highly recommend for other new hobbyist wanting to get into fish keeping!

Boutique style little fish shop with lots to see. Convenient location near the Takapuna area just north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
