Hanna and her team were absolutely amazing when I asked if there was any chance they could alter my wedding dress with really short notice (about 4 weeks before the wedding).They were so kind and helpful!Hanna had a lot of patience with me while I tried to use my nonexistent tailoring knowledge to decide on the alterations I needed done (being a pedantic bride and wanting my dress to fit perfectly but not understanding how to make it happen).Basically I’d recommend this place to anyone who needs any alterations done - anyone who has any experience with being a bride / having a wedding dress (or suit or anything to do with a wedding) knows how hard it is to trust someone with your outfit!Also was done 2 weeks before the wedding so I didn’t feel rushed and had time to make sure it was perfect.Sorry for the long review, basically I couldn’t recommend Hanna and her team any more highly!!

Editing to add to original review.I came here to have my wedding dress altered. It was so efficient and they knew what i needed. Super affordable and friendly service!Used this store a while back for my partners jacket needing the inside liner repaired. They did it in a timely fashion, did it very well and even went beyond the initial repair and did other parts that had torn, all for a super low price.I was in there yesterday to get my wedding dress fitted and they were friendly and understood what I needed even if I was a bit unsure

Stay away from this clothes alterations place. Women (owner) is rude and won’t even let you question the pricing she charges you. English isn’t her first language which makes her even harder to deal with. Tries to tell you that she told you the price of taking up items when she told you a completely different price in the beginning. Exorbitant pricing when other places charge a whole lot less. Stay away you have been warned. Would actually be cheaper going out a buying a new item of clothing.Previous owner Rhonda was always lovely to deal with and her prices were very reasonable not like the new owner. Very unreasonable and rude.

I really love Hannah.She's so helpful. I came into her business, to buy my wedding dress.I was on a dress mission, she stayed open, even though it was past closing time, and made sure I got a dress.She is so helpful, and so kind.I popped into her store again, with my bridesmaid to try on the dress and show her.She stayed open again. For brides that want a beautiful dresses, this is your best kept secret.I also purchased, my veil head comb from here as well as other shops were tacky. Not Hannah's she has beautiful pieces for sale.I can't wait to get my dress back, from her.Thanks Hannah.Chloe

Hannah was amazing, she is very skilled and worked on my wedding dress at short notice. I tried another place in Dunedin to have my dress altered and was very disappointed, but Hannah was able to fixe this and make changes to my dress perfectly. Don't try anywhere else for your wedding dress.
