Carter's Tyre Service - Mt Maunganui

Fixed my punctured tyre right away on a Friday afternoon and saved my weekend. Friendly staff and reasonable price.

I had a great experience at Carters tyres recently. Devon was super helpful assisting me choose replacement tyres. 10/10 service!

Last visit there was pretty bad. The guy checked tyre pressures on our motorhome for me. He put one of the 6 valve caps back on. I took them all off for him. Hubby checked pressures when I got back home. They should be all around 60 to 65. But 3 were less than 40, less than when I took it in. Not impressed and won't be back

The manager there has absolutely no people skills..very disappointing..

We had to come back the following day as they had to get the tyres delivered - which we accepted.My partner runs her own business and had to block out the first hour of the day to get her tyres changed. She turned up on time as organised the day before. They claimed the staff hadn’t arrived (this was after opening time), then another vehicle turned up and they started work on it straightaway.My partner had an apportionment but they skipped over her to serve the other person. They started on her vehicle over 45 minutes late, delaying her whole morning.They should not neglect one customer with an appointment to deal with another client who turns up on the spur of the moment.We both work in customer-focused jobs and Carters did a really bad job of serving us.We’ll not go back again.
