Parakai Springs Lodge

Stayed two nights with family. Oh what a great getaway. Enjoyed the pool. Facilities were great especially the jacuzzi tub after a long day sweating in the sun. Nice little kitchen area and outdoor area. Nice 5 minute stroll to the store/s and across from both Palm Springs and Paraki Pools. Added bonus.

WARNING ; DONT BOOK HERE property used for emergency housing and trying to rent rooms out, room was a total wreck! with cigarette buts everywhere. draws broken, bugs on the walls, new marks on walls, awful smell, lawns terrible, no shampoos, coffees, nothing! bunch of people in the car park hanging around who I would say had left a room and expected us to sleep in it, as soon as we walked in we grabbed the reception lady and the cleaner and told them to come look at the room and how discusting it was. she advised it was the owners fault, I said I’m not staying here, even my 5 year old son was saying it was yuck! I paid $361 which I still have yet got back, the room would be worth $20 - I’m still in the process of getting the money back and I won’t let it go. This property shouldn’t even be aloud on here. i have 13 photos of proof.

The private spa in the room was the best thing! Beds were comfy. Certain things about it that ruined it for our stay:- we only had 2 towels in the room- 2 of each utensil, 1 toilet paper and a half ply in the draw.- the wear and tear in the rooms that could easily be a quick fix like scuff marks all over the walls and wardrobe doors.- room smelt like a public toilet- A truck was parked right in the driveway giving everyone small space to get through (carpark is small) so everyone had to squeeze cars through, witnessed a guy he seemed to know the receptionist being a family/friend a lady approached him as he had his door opened and he was annoyed at them as if they didn't just pay to stay there.- reception wasn't that welcoming as mentioned before like she was doing us a favour- big pool seems like it needs some cleaning with the green algi in it.Was an okay stay otherwise

Excellent stay. Very friendly, patient and welcoming staff. Great room, clean and spacious. Would stay there again in a heart beat.

The room was very beautiful, clean and tidy.. notice some mould on the net curtains but had a great stay their.

Absolutely terrible service booked through Expedia had a price and a quote to pay as we arrived the business Then tried to charge there own desired price and rip my elderly parents off when requested to speak to the owner/boss the woman that was working on the 5/5/2023 at 2:30 pm then said she does not have to provide them with any contact details as she is not allowed to and was obnoxiously rude and not understanding at all we tried to give her the proof and she denied everything and was still trying to get $280 dollars from my parents when we had the booking and receipts for $173.90 they then took it upon themselves to then take $280 out of my father’s accounts without permission and when my parents requested a refund they denied giving it back through card and gave cash this business is dirty and a scam and will be taken to the fair trades act !!!!!!! NOT TO MENTION IT WAS ALSO HER BIRTHDAY DISGRACEFUL .

Door lock broken couldn’t go out as I couldn’t lock the door had birthday party at parakai springs I had to leave early due to this. Couldn’t leave to go out for dinner. Door was not fixed. While in the room had a cleaner enter with cigarette in her mouth looking for her phone. 7:45pm staff knocked on door asking for a fold out single bed from the cupboard. Room was not clean pillows smelt rubbish bin had old food and liquid in the bottom of the bin that smelt. Mould on curtains. Spa in bathroom did not work. Spa was boiling hot had to put cold water in it before you could use it. Stains on carpet. Fridge was too noisey during the night. Heat pump remote broken with black tape wrapped around it. Drawers broken. Kitchenware was limited one wine glass one glass two coffee cups two of each cutlery. Cigarette butt on deck outside. Ants in kitchen on bedside tables. Every time guests above us walked around you would here them so much noise from the ceiling. I originally requested a late checkout 12pm however I couldn’t wait to leave the following morning. No one at reception in the morning for checkout to share complaints. Would never stay here again!

Very disappointed in our stay here..The water was cold so unable to have a hot shower or spa bath..we boiled the kettle for hot water, contacted the managers who told us to turn the tap on and off again..made the water temp worse. Stains on the carpet basin in bathroom didn't drain very well and we had to put the bedspread across some very low windows as to much light in the night and only frosted glass. The bed linen was lovely and fresh, but could have done with an extra towel each, 1 flannel and handtowel between us..the heat pump ran cold and wouldn't warm up. For us to get away and stay anywhere is a treat..sadly this wasn't. Oh and wasn't sure if we were allowed to use the pool as people in there with a dog

I had been wary of booking here reading some of the other reviews but my stay way great! Nice place, clean rooms, the private spa was the highlight. Nice staff and in an area that felt safe to leave my vehicle outside. Thanks for a great stay

There were NO HIGHTLIGHTS to staying at Parakai Springs Lodge, in fact we didn't stay.The unit was like being in an old ashtray, blood stains on door, skirting boards, bed, dirty fridge. Asked for refund which has not been forthcoming.Room was disgusting, only in room 20 minutes and decided couldn't stay in those conditions. The photos and text on their website does not portray the true state of this establishment and conditions. This is not a 4 star establishment as they state, lucky to make 1 star.
