Fin and Feather Eatery
We had a wonderful time on Stewart Island and Fin and Feather was a highlight. Saturday in January we had utterly scrumptious donuts for lunch then went back for dinner. We had the pulled venison burger and the salmon. Both came out quickly, were beautifully presented and next level delicious. A sunny evening so we sat at their bench and enjoyed the food and view. A food truck for sure, but the best meal in Oban.

We were happy to get to try out Doughnut Sunday. These are not your average doughnuts. The Jaffa Cheesecake pull apart and White Chocolate lychee and orange were super yum and uniquely awesome. We also tried the Poached pear dessert which was also delicious and a pleasant surprise. We had a lovely time chatting to the owner and workers. Highly recommend!

Wow. The food here is sensational. As good as any you'd eat in NZs big cities. We had the blue cod burger which was juicy and packed with veges. Luxury salmon croquettes, cauliflower pieces and tempura banana blossom. Was not expecting this quality of food on Stewart Island. So fresh and delicious. Definitely eat here !!!!

We had just finished the North Western Circuit and were craving burgers. We got that and more. The flavours are spot on. A lot of talent has gone into this food. We texted our order through just before they opened. I recommend this as about an hour after they opened - they had sold out of most options. Delicious!!

Incredibly tasty meal (pulled lamb, followed by panna cota dessert) full of flavour, colour, texture and beautifully presented too. Amazing for a take away from a food truck. You must eat there while on Stewart Island. (There is outside seating too). Mid November it was open at the weekend only.

Tried the Jackfruit Rendang and a dark chocolate donut for dessert. Ingredients were fresh with awesome flavours. Friendly service with takeaway option or eat out front at some picnic tables.

Just incredible food. GF options, friendly fast service, and what a menu!! Never had flavors like it. Must eat here if you are visiting Rakiura, it is actually way better than eating in!
