And this one star is being generous! We arrived in Auckland, New Zealand and our luggage was left in Sydney, Australia. Nobody at Menzies seems to care or be bothered to help us. We have now gone 13 days without. New Zealand this is NOT the way to treat tourists!

I will just echo the same sentiment share by pretty much everyone else. This place is an absolute dumpster fire of disorganization, chaos, bad management, and a host of employees working under the “not my job” attitude.In my experience, companies at this level can not be saved, the whole organization needs to be scrapped and rebuilt from the bottom up.

(Menzies Auckland airport) Truly an amazing experience.My bag arrived perfectly on time, for my flight home 1 month after I arrived.Their customer service is fantastic not a single employee was rude to me, as not a single employee ever picked up the phone with my 60 odd calls.The in-business coordination is is incredible, they have the exact same phone number (Christchurch Menzies for Auckland) as everyone else, that no one ever picks up.I really find it unsurprising that their services have made national news! For losing record number of bags and getting bags to no-one!Thanks Menzies I will really enjoy having the stuff I packed for holidays at home to unpack without having used it.(At least I got my bag back)

What is the point of a help line to discuss a lost suitcase when all you ever hear is Message cannot be recorded at this time"???? I flew to Sydney from Auckland last Wednesday

21st December arrived in new Zealand from overseas. Still not yet received the bag. Today february 21st .patiently waiting for our bag. I Called many times,unfortunately no one pick up the calls in menzies bag and lost. I'm not asking for compensation . Atleast We just need our bag back.that's all asking.100% sure we have that It's in menzies because from urgent courier services we were informed that It's been sent to menzies on 7 th january. Hope the service in menzies bit more responsible .

Terrible service. Just went to try and pick up bag as Qantas advised bag is in Auckland and advised to go and ask. On arrival back to Auckland no one from Menzies was at airport to assist with query at time I arrived back. Manager at Menzies on site ignored customers and threatened customers with security if they didn’t leave. He would not help or assist customers and closed door locking door. Ignored doorbell when rung. Another staff member wanted to help but manager came out and threatened security if we didn’t leave. awful service and an embarrassment to New Zealand tourism as he recalled they are trying to process 500,000 lost bags. Not sure how to get bag back as no one answers calls as mentioned in other reviews

Appalling service at Menzies auckland. Extremely rude behaviour over the phone and mis informed. Wasted hours at the Christchurch airport while the luggage still sits in Dubai at the departure. Aman supposedly the manager apparently needs some schooling. I had come here to paint a picture of their service but I guess others have reflected it already. Not wasting more time on it.

They do not answer their phone or reply to emails.They instead leave notices that their office is closed or that your lost baggage is not available for pick up yet (no eta) on their office door. If they are open prepare to be standing in a line that doesn't move in the hopes that someone might eventually talk to you.

The worst service ever. Our luggage got stuck in Melbourne en route from Bali. So far so good. We then had to stand in line for half an hour to fill out some paperwork. They told us they would call us the next day and give us our luggage. The next day nothing happened. When we tried to call them, no one picked up the phone. We then called Qantas for over one hour, they were completely useless. We went to the airport ourselves at 9pm. The Menzies office is really dirty and chaotic, with lost luggage lying around everywhere. Miraculously, we got our bags once we told the Menzies employee that we had gotten a call to pick them up (which we had never gotten). Beware of this company, don't trust them, they will lie to your face!!!
