Very good fish and chips. The fish is thick with a light crispy batter, and the chips are made in-house too which make for a better chip.

Best fish and chips if you ask me.Staff are nice and friendly, I took one star off service because the wait times are pretty long, but that's expected when you're the best.Crispy chicken burger is crazy good too

The best fish and chips in the area! The fish is always fresh and the batter and chips crispy.The first time we ordered there was way too much salt so after that we have asked for no salt and it’s been perfect.

FailI asked for my pineapple ring to be put in the sugar & cinnamon mix used for doughnuts - didn't happen plus it was super greasy. The chips were super greasy with maybe a couple of crisp ones. My crumbed tarakihi was more crumb than fish but was nice. The barest whisper of salt.

Really good fish and chip shop. It has been busy every time I have ordered there so be prepared for a small wait. There is a Chinese takeaways next door called Hard Wok Express" that does decent Chinese Takeaways with a smorgasbord service weds-to Sunday."

I have been coming to Opawa Seafoods (when I live in Chch) for 28 years, and they are still a family favourite! Tonights visit proves they are still consistent. Meat patties from here are one of a kind!
