Fine Orthodontics

My jaw clenched and caused intense pain for the duration of my treatment causing insomnia and lock jaw. The orthodontists (many different ones during Covid years) all ignored my experience and told me to work harder. Causing distress, insomnia and anxiety. No solutions were offered. Covid years meant waiting months for orthodontic appointments which different orthodontists all unwilling to listen to my situation. Also months of waiting for new aligners which meant longer treatment time and more damage to teeth (aligners sensitise your teeth and leave them more vulnerable). The orthodontists all treated me as tho I wasn’t trying when I was in agony and not sleeping. My treatment was ended abruptly due to time being up. The orthodontist assured me my treatment hadn’t stopped and I would receive desired results. That was a lie.I was left with gaps between my teeth and stained teeth (I have never had gappy teeth and my teeth are usually white) In my opinion my top teeth look worse than when I begun treatment. Eventually I was offered a wire plate to wear at night instead of plastics aligners (which cause my jaw to clench) which has helped with sleep and I really appreciate.I have to say that the receptionists and all the other staff were incredible and have always gone out of their way to help. They are superstars ✨After spending so much money and being brushed of and told that I was always a teeth clencher and grinder when I have never in my life had these issues feeling ignored, offended and not cared for. I feel the need to share my experience so people are aware that if they have a bad reaction to treatment like I did they may not find support, care of results they would expect to receive after spending so much money and being promised stunning results.Beware.

Thrilled with the results of my treatment. The team were very helpful and my smile is now something I’m proud to show off! Impressed by the bespoke treatment and explanations as to why the suggested the treatment they did, and the changes made along the way to get the outcome I wanted.

Such an incredibly friendly and professional team! I have had an amazing experience with them and my Invisalign treatment. All my appointments were all carried out efficiently, and were informative. This was an excellent solution for our daughter Neave. She managed the entire procedure herself at age 12-13yo. Fine worked very effectively. Very impressed. Her teeth straightened easily and look fantastic. Neave wears a retainer every night to hold all in place and a bonus to use as she grinds her teeth. Highly recommend

Fine Orthodontics Queenstown was by far the best place I’ve been to yet. It has great customer service with the front staff being super lovely and inviting. All I needed was a fix up with my wire and that was no problem to them. Other places charged around $200 for glue to be replaced on the wire but Fine orthodontics was affordable and easy. Everything was clean and tidy and most importantly the staff are extremely professional.Thank you!!

I was transferred to Fine toward the end of my Invisalign treatment. My experience with them has been great. The modern set up instantly makes you feel like you're in the right hands. The welcoming receptionist puts you at ease. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment. All the dental staff are professional and efficient. Best of all - my teeth look great! A year seems like a long time, but now its nearly over it actually went pretty quickly.
