Brilliant trip. The captain was informative and funny. His ‘helper’ was helpful and fantastic with everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and saw some fabulous parts of the sound.

Our second mail boat experience and still as good as our previous trip in 2017. We have previously done the Western" route and so this time we did the "Outer Sounds". The boat is now much bigger than our first trip and so not quite such an intimate experience but still very enjoyable. We loved the skipper's informative commentary with a lovely dry sense of humour! It's amazing how people can live so much "off the grid" as they do. Had a great picnic stop on a wild

Brilliant! VERY well 'looked after' on the Boat with an entertaining commentary, a lovely hour spent at Te Rawa Lodge on the wharf and Ice-cream available at the Lodge.

This is a must do thing to do in Havelock. You get a great view of Pelorus Sound and get to see the mail delivered. We visited a very interesting farm on the way

Great scenery along the various sounds with a unique stopover for lunch. Be prepared for a long day with lots of sunscreen if the sun is shining.

I did the Friday Outter Sound tour on a grey and rainy day but it was still a beautiful way to spend a day in New Zealand. The crew was very accommodating and educational. This is a part of New Zealand that many people don't get to see. I highly recommend it.Plus you get to see pups and pigs too!

Did a six hour or so trip around the Marlborough sounds. The boat stops to drop off mail at various points for a few minutes. There's a lunch stop of around an hour where you can also have a swim or a tour of a working farm. We had great weather but I imagine it wouldn't have been as good in poor weather. Our pilot Nicole gave us a running commentary during the journey. I enjoyed her sense of humour but it might not be to everyone's taste. Between her and her other crewmember Lauren they kept us updated on the area.

Great value , fantastic trip , take a packed lunch or have a well priced beer and food at the pub with water access only , about 6 hours of stunning views but wrap up warm and wind proof if u want to stay on the top deck but did lose a star because the speakers are broke and couldn't sit outside and hear the tour which is important, blue tooth that speaker or something

A fantastic half day out on the water. A short walk through the bush, got to see mussels being harvested, interesting and funny commentary from the crew.Highly recommended.
