Seal Swim Kaikoura

Brilliant trip. We were lucky together really close to a bunch of playful juvenile seals. Our skipper Al? Was great with my 7 year old and very knowledgeable.

An excellent experience which is well worth the money. Both the store staff and the guide were fabulous. We were lucky that day and saw a great many seals who would swim right up to you before scampering away. It was fantastic and memorable.

Amazing experience. Staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable, and even made things easy for my 9 ye old daughter who was originally scared to go in the water. These guys took us straight to the seals, gave us the best guidance on what to do and importantly what not to do when out there. Those seals were like playful puppies - so much fun!

Wonderful tour. The tour before us didn't have a good encounter with the seals, so they got half of their money back. They asked our group who still wanted to go because the conditions were bad, it was to cold to have a big chance to swim with the seals. So if we didn't go, we would get all the money back, if we did go and didn't swim with seals, we would get half of the money back. We were lucky, those guys organizing this tour do so much effort to give you a good encounter with some seals. I loved it!! Thank you guys, you made my day!! I would definitely recommend this tour!

What an incredible experience! Alistair our guide was terrific and shared info throughout our dive/swim. The whole experience was first class, from check in, equipment and speed to get you on the water safely. Alistair picked out a great high tide spot with heaps of seals and pups in the water. We had a great time. You can really see how they take both the safety of the guests and the interaction with seals very seriously. We we instructed to respect their space, how to safely interact and be non-intrusive. But the seals come right up and check you out! So cool. This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Highly recommended!

I can't begin to describe how amazing this experience was. The guides were super friendly and informative, the equipment was great and swimming with the seals was one of the best experiences of my life. You can relax and float around while seals swim right up and interact with you. When you turn away from them they are so playful and interested that they follow. There are hundreds of seals on the rocks surrounding you and I even saw some seal pups. I had gone swimming with the dolphins the day prior and if I were to choose between the two this would be my pick. If you can bring an underwater camera I'd absolutely recommend it because you will want to relive this experience over and over again.

A truly magical trip from an experienced and passionate team. The equipment was top notch. We felt safe and comfortable at all times. The seals were playful and cheeky. I can't recommend this tour enough. A complete highlight from our Christmas Roady.

We had a ton of fun. Visibility wasn't the best but that's the ocean. The seals were very playful and did get really close. Definitely recommend taking motion sickness meds before.

Amazing experience!They really take their stuff serious and want You to have the best experience You can have. Which sadly also means that they won't go out unless the conditions are good (water visibility, seal activity,..). So they might cancel or ask You to reschedule the tour (You would get Your full refund). We had to reschedule 3 times over 3 days but that was absolutely worth it. The skipper who took us to the seal was extremely nice, informative and helpful. We even saw some rare blue penguins on the way to the seal colony. The seals themselves are incredibly active and they really do come as close as on the pictures to You.I would do it immediately again!
