A great day out with the family! The staff were very knowledgeable about the area and happy to share. Morning tea was delicious and the tour was just long enough for active kids to sit. Hoping to take the long trip one day. Thanks!

This is a great experience travelling along a section of the disused rail line. Through tranquil areas of the countryside. Morning tea at the turn around point of the short trip is great, with home made baking. The short trip is only about 2 hours. Can go rain or shine

This is awesome! It is a different experience of using rail road on a golf cart! Coffee, Tea with scones and Easter eggs (it was Easter weekend). The people who run this are very nice, informative and passionate about what they do. It is a must do" thingy. Track goes through farms where you can enjoy picturesque landscapes."

We did the rail trip to Tangowahine today and had an awesome time. Loved every minute. A unique adventure on our doorstep. Great guides who are informative and supplied a tasty halfway cuppa with an assortment of baked treats. We'll be back to do a longer trip next time.

Really enjoyed our trip to Tangowahine today. Our mum aged 91 especially enjoyed her bucket list outing! Great hosts and delicious homemade baking at the halfway mark. Will be back to do the all day trip when time and weather permit.

This was a great experience. Our family had a great time with the friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the interesting local history. Good fun driving the cart! And the homemade scones and biscuits were a lovely, and tasty, touch. Highly recommend!

Absolutely enjoyed this tour! Highly recommend this tour trip. It’s a peaceful drive to Dargaville for this pleasant and relaxing tour taken by even nicer knowledgeable people. Not forgetting - the scones were so delicious :)Cheers for the tour!

Although the weather was shower, one shower included hail, we enjoyed our trip on a portion of the rail line from Dargaville to Tangowahine, had scones and coffee, before return to Dargaville. Very informative.
