Cafe Zest & the Waffle Room
Went for a breakfast and I couldn’t eat a single bite as everything tasted and smelt off! Coffee was bitter. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was just an off day. FOH was amazing. But after reading some of the business owners responses to reviews I think that might just be the standard.

The food wasn't great. Not very fresh ingredients, so a little bit disappointing. It would be a nice place for just a coffee.

Every bit the perfect breakfast and coffee. Only thing to note and it's a good thing. If you are in a hurry and this place is busy then it can be at least 20 mins wait but worth the wait.

What an amazing place to eat. The atmosphere was great and the food was to die for. I was a little worried when the food was taking a little while but then the owner came out and apologized for the mix up in the kitchen and gave us some complimentary cakes. I cant wait to go back again. Loved every crumb.

I ordered a decaf coffee from there today because I’m really sensitive to caffine. I must have also paid extra for that decaf. I made it super clear that it must be decaf also because I’m breastfeeding. It wasn’t decaf, I know because my heart has been racing ever since and I feel dizzy and sick. Super annoyed because i know she didn’t listen or care because I also asked for nothing on top and there was chocolate. Never going back there.

Nice place. We came here for breakfast as a group of 4. The eggs bene was nice but the sun dried tomato bit was very over powering. The waffle meal was huge and delicious as well as the avocado on toast - delicious. Service took a while (for the food to come out) we probably waited around 40 minutes after ordering. Overall pretty goodExperience
