Fantastic shop. I've shopped there for many years. Best yarn, great tourist stop, very nice staff. Love it.

This is a fabulous store to shop for A lovely range of New Zealand products. A great place too o shop if you are planing an overseas trip and you want to bring gifts from NZ, without paying Auckland airport prices. I especially love the selection of beeswax candles. They also have authentic honeycomb and other local honey products. And of course they stock a huge range of Mohair and possum clothing plus wool if you are a knitter. Also check out the sheepskin boots and footwear range.

Bought mohair yarn here and loved the product! It's like knitting candyfloss. The customer team even gave me a call to check in with me re. shipping times - appreciate the service.

We stopped here to get our kids some gifts and the store very kindly popped them into seperate gift bags for each of them. It was extra mile customer service and our kids loved them.

Beautifully hand-knitted hats, scarves, cardigans, jerseys/sweaters etc. They've all sorts of wool in different colours and ply to knit your own and have knitting patterns too. Also a good selection of souvenirs to create a special gift to send overseas or, if visiting NZ, to take home as a momento of your visit here.

Great assortment of possum merino wool sweaters and accessories, including from brand Lothlorian. A lot more stylish than what I saw in other tourist shops around New Zealand. Bought a couple before going to the airport. Saw similar products at the airport for 25% more! So this place is also a great value.

Love supporting a new zealand business, but was underwhelmed with the products.Purchased 4 pairs of socks, 2 for me and 2 for my partner. By the end of winter had thrown out 3 of the pairs because the heels are not reinforced. To be clear we wore these socks in the house, in slippers, so the least extreme environment. I called and was told they would not replace them as it had been 8 months between purchase and contacting them, despite having only used them for a portion of that time. Here's the last pair, as you can see it's just one layer on the heel, was never going to last. I feel like a sock should last longer than a season, and I would recommend Darn Tough, unfortunately a US brand but at least their socks have a life time guarantee.

The leg warmers that I ordered as gifts are gorgeous. The customer service is also awesome. It's when a glitch occurs (as did with my order) that the calibre of a company is shown. This company surpassed all expectations.

Really quality gift and personal items in a pleasant layout. The wool products are lovely but don't carry the price tag that touristy places do. You cal also buy wool needlework.
