Victoria Park Skate Plaza
One of the largest skate parks in the city. Very popular with kids and skateboarding enthusiasts. Overall well maintained and easily accessible. The new basketball court nearby is a crowd puller as well.

Victoria Park Skate Plaza
First time back on a board in nearly a decade since my early-mid 20s, and it was largely due to driving past this park and being in awe again. Midday on a clear sky Thursday was wide open for re-learning the basics. There's a ton of flat ground space to get in the groove, a lot of boxes and levels for street, and then tops off with a big bowl and a couple quarterpipes. Scooters, bikes, and of course boards all cruising around and everyone from little kids to us 30+ trying to keep up with a sport we love.

Skated this park August 2018, for the first time since the upgrade from when it was ruff bitumen and ply bout 2000, awesome park 2ft and a 4ft mini, big bowl, lots of ledges, blocks, fun rail down a three stair, big park, very smooth.

Great park peaceful and quiet. We had a great time there in the cbd. Also has a basketball court to do some sport and sweat

Shredded this park one day tipsy on a lime scooter. It has some sick jumps and popped off a couple 1-2 meter drops. Lovely big fields and relaxing vibe in cbd.

If you have younger children mornings are best, leave before lunch.Kids between 11 - 13 without parent supervision pushing younger children, smoking, and just generally making trouble. Auckland city needs to start monitoring this parks and make it safe for everyone.
