Tregold Weddings

From the minute we connected with Sam from Tregold Weddings, we were blown away by her genuine interest in our special day, as well as how friendly and sweet she was. Through the whole planning process, no matter what happened, we knew that Sam was right there supporting us and helping us to navigate everything that come our way. Sam helped to bring our vision to life, helped to brainstorm ideas, and helped to cut costs where able. We greatly looked forward to our planning meetings, and came to view Sam as a dear friend by our wedding day. We highly recommend having Tregold Weddings as your styling and planning team - it was the best thing we ever did!

Sam helped us plan a small wedding at the Lookout Lodge in Wanaka, all the way from Wollongong, Australia in less than 12 months. She made it a stress free and enjoyable experience. Thanks to Tregold Weddings and additional caterers/vendors recommended by Sam, we had the most beautiful wedding and we could not recommend them enough. Sam and the Tregold team are phenomenal!

It is hard to find the words to describe how much we loved working with Sam and the Tregold Team. Sam made this journey so incredibly smooth and enjoyable. There was not one stressful moment in the planning of our wedding or on the wedding day and this was because of all the planning and work that we did with Sam and the team in the months before. If you are getting married, we highly recommend Tregold!

Where to start with the wonderful Sam and her lovely team... Didnt think I'd need a planner - I'm good at organising and know what I want. But then thought - destination wedding - let's just engage them as a backup. AND BOY AM I GLAD I DID!Every meeting I had with Tregold in the year lead up was like sitting down with a mate. It was fun, helpful, calming, and productive. Worked through closed borders, tough vendors and interesting family dynamics. Nothing is a problem. Walked into the lead up week full of confidence.Then came the actual day - where mother nature did not play ball. I have no words for the effort, hard work and tenancity that went into pulling off my wedding. The perfect equation of asking how I wanted the day to pan out and just getting on with making whatever decisions were necessary.Sam is quite simply the queen of problem solving and keeping the show on the road. Well worth the money spent (plus some!!) and I wouldn't hesitate in not only recommending the Tregold team but urging you, if considering it, to absolutely utilise their expertise, skills and advice for your own event.If I could give more stars I would - SAM, YOU ARE A STAR!(Pic of my very soggy dress and flowers :D )

Sam was an amazing sounding board and made me feel so calm and confident with the planning leading up to the day. She clearly has magic up her sleeves because she delivered and then some... I even believe she is the reason the sun came out just in time for the ceremony. :)

My husband and I live in Australia, but had the pleasure of working with Tregold for about a year and a half to plan our New Zealand wedding, with two date changes between getting started and actually tying the knot. As we had already planned most of our vendors, we worked with Sam using the 'Little Bit of Help' option as well as styling and it was the best decision we could have made. Sam guided us expertly through the whole planning and styling process and helped us create our dream day (even when it poured with rain!), with many guests describing it as the best wedding they'd ever attended.

Being based in Wellington we had this idea that it would be handy to have someone ‘on the ground’ in Wanaka to help pull our shindig together. We had a Zoom call with Sam and quickly decided to go with Tregold’s ‘A little bit of help package.’ That is without a doubt the best decision we made in the planning of our day. Sam is so warm and friendly, and right from the start we felt that nothing was ever a problem. Sam’s organisational skills are out of this world, and her and the Tregold team's dedication meant our day was planned with precision. Having local knowledge at our fingertips was invaluable, without which we could easily have made several wrong turns. Sam's fantastic interpersonal skills means she is wonderful at liaising with the many different suppliers involved in such an event. We had a beautiful day, and Sam was such a big part of why it was so successful. Having her there to keep things ticking along meant we were able to enjoy it all the more. Thank you so much!

Sam and Courtney did a fantasic job in helping us to plan our wedding and provide us with lots of support and advice along the way. We live in the North Island and having someone based in Wanaka to give us advice about the right vendors was fantastic as it helped us make decisions quickly and effectivly. We used the 'Little bit of help' option as it meant that we could do all the planning up until our Christmas holiday and then hand it over to Sam to finish off the last little bits in Janurary before the wedding in Feburary. They did a fantastic job with our styling and helped us when we had issues or questions along the way.
