The most honest friendly and reliable workshop i have been to. My life is owning cars and this group of people have made life easier to get work done on my mercedes

Staff are rude, owner is a thief charging for work not done, borrows customers cars to joyride around in, including an expensive Porsche. Workshop Manager takes customers cars home to Rolleston frequently. Also sends abusive text messages to ex employees that left over a year ago. Overcharged mark up on all parts, blames and bribes customers to change reviews to stop MTA getting suspicious. Don’t waste your time or money. Go to a real workshop.

Raj and his team did a good job if identifying and repairing all the faults on my Audi Q7, the price was reasonable and was nice to drive out with no warning lights on the dash. Thanks

As a previous employee of KBL automotive I feel the need to share some truth about how KBL operates. They are running off the business past reputation being owned under Kevin. During my 12 months of employment I saw multiple vehicle damaged by staff and no ownership taken by the business to fix these issues. Multiple staff members would take customers vehicles home (as far as rolleston) without owners consent or even knowledge. Parts or labour was charged to jobs when nothing was done, including a issue with insurance claim that the work was never done. The markup on parts was sometimes 1000% and the initial quote would be 2 or even 3 times the quoted amount. The management team took a customers Porsche for a weekend cruise to be spotted by the customer who was deeply upset. The current management feels the need to send harassing texts to ex employees even after a lengthy period has passed. Management will bribe or pay customers to change their Google reviews to suit what they want posted and cover up any bad reviews so people don’t know the truth. Do your self a favour and take your vehicle to any of the other reputable European workshops that are scattered thru Christchurch and get honest work done by honest techs.

KBL has excellent, quick customer service. They were able to run codes on my van and quoted different solutions at different price points. I appreciate their honest communication!

I rang got an appointment the next day. Diagnosed fault. suggested acceptable remedy. sourced part and fixed by EOD. Asked a question about sealed auto transmissions. they knew exactly what I was talking about. set appointment for next week. looking forward to having a trusted mechanic.

Highly recommended. Top level service. I’ve had my BMW 335i there several times over the last couple of years and KBL have always done a great job. They know what they are doing!
