Today we picked up our new Jayco Journey Outback 19.61 from Jayco Auckland. We found about 3 or 4 small details that probably could have been dealt with before our arrival but they were all addressed during the handover. Special thank you to Tyler for taking good care of us over the past year while we waited for the caravan to be built. The nicest chap to deal with and we can highly recommend contacting him if you need a caravan.

A year long wait for the new van but we are very happy with it. Well made, looks great, and a very professional 2 hour handover. Great company and great people to deal with. They were proactive in giving us updates which we appreciated

We love our new Jayco Journey and it was worth the wait (even though it was a long wait and unavoidable with the way of the present world). Friendly and approachable staff. Tyler kept us fully informed and was always available to answer any questions. Neville was very informative and patient in the handover. It's good to see a genuine New Zealand business doing well in these difficult times.

The customer service was outstanding from the moment I first contacted Jayco Auckland, and throughout. The new service person is brilliant. The technicians were very focused on fixing what needed fixing in a highly efficient manner.I bought a Journey Outback in June 2021 but as I live over 1000km return journey away, the first time I took it to Jayco Auckland was in May 2023. It was for a recall to inspect/fix seals.I originally wanted a service as well but due to a hospital appointment I had to cancel and was able to book in a couple of weeks later for the recall. Nevertheless the technicians discovered other issues that needed attention and fixed them. I intend to drive the 1,000 km plus for its next service as I consider it worth it.It's a busy operation and you need to book in well in advance. But that is no different to other many other services at the moment in New Zealand, like waiting four weeks to see a GP or trying to get tradies to fix things within the next month at home. Demand over supply.I have been elsewhere nearer home for caravan service both because of distance and recommendations from people on the road, but never had anything like the positive experience I got with Jayco Auckland.As for the product - the Journey Outback in my case, my view having looked at their Australian competitors, is that you get good value for your money. Sure, you can spend double the money and may get a more refined product, but most of the essentials are the similar.

We purchased a new van from Jayco Auckland 18 months ago and they have proved over and over again to be unreliable, uncaring and unscrupulous. Every dealing with them has been difficult and the last straw today came when we went to use a custom made awning floor for the first time only to find it is a roughly cut piece of flooring material without any velcro joins as promised. We have been ripped off again. We have since been dealing with Jayco Christchurch who are totally professional. Don't deal with Auckland unless you are happy to be ripped off.

We were early to our appointment at Jayco Auckland. They accommodated us after talking to Tony & Neville it was an easy relaxed handover. Tony was informative in a period which is somewhat unpredictable. We waited 14 months so what it is is what it is. Nevilles explanations in showing us the van was perfect. Clear & simple so even if you aren’t mechanical or electronic minded, it’s not hard once you start using it. We had a awesome experience, well done Jayco AucklandJohn & Maryke Bublitz

Excellent people to deal with at Auckland Jayco, made it easy to purchase a caravan. Good follow up service also.

rang Parts as bearing has collapsed in jockey wheel, they said a month before new replacement jockey wheel arrives.I rang Jayco Canterbury and Phil sourced a bearing which is being over night couriered today.Excellent customer service from Canterbury, not from Auckland

Sales experiance was good, the salesman was professional and kept in comunication.Worked to get a speedy delivery.The final presentation and cleaning was less than impressiveUnfortunatly am struggling to get any response from after sales service at present.
