Hyde School Accommodation Otago Central Rail Trail | Welcome to Hyde School Accommodation Otago This former School House and B&B is situated 200m from the Otago Central Rail Trail. Situated in a peaceful country setting the historic schoolhouse is used to serve meals to our B&B guests. We are fully licensed for that purpose. We have 5 ensuite bedrooms on the upper field of this historic site. The old school field is used by young and old and retains the old goal post. This allows our guests leisure time with sports equipment available for use.

One word WOW!! Absolutely brilliant place to rest wary cycling legs. Comfortable lodgings but the stand out was the quality of the food served for dinner. You cannot go through Hyde without staying a night and experiencing the hospitality at this establishment.

Thankyou Ross and Tania we had a one night stop here the food was great we had 3 vegans in our party who were more than happy with there meals the wine selection was one of the best on are biking adventure the rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable Ross and Heather made our last night on the rail trail very memorable.

The units were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location was fabulous with expansive country views and very close to the rail trail.Tania and Ross were great hosts. The dinner prepared by Tania exceeded all expectations. It was just fabulous! They also have a good selection of gins and other spirits which was a bit of a surprise! I loved my stay there.

Tania and Ross are the consummate hosts. They are genuinely welcoming and very interesting to talk with. Food and wine was the best by far on our 4 day rail trail adventure. This place is a must to stay
