My boyfriend surprised me with Chocolate Mud cake for my birthday with candles from this cake company. The writing on the cake was horrendous and the cake tasted stale and dry. My birthday surprise party was ruined. Nobody ate the cake!The candles were horrible and didn't even light as the wick was missing. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!I would ask the customer service to call me or contact me on my email to give me refund and an apology!!!!

I cannot recommend The Chocolate Cake Company enough!I requested a gender reveal cake and gave Murray some ideas that I liked and he completed exceeded my expectations! The cake was chocolate mud with butter cream filling and it was the most delicious cake I have ever tried! Usually when you go to a party there is ALWAYS too much cake left over, this time there was none and people were asking for more! Will definitely be coming back for all my cakes.

Extremely disappointed.Got home to open a 'photo' cake that looked like this...absolutely appalling. The cake had evidently not been refrigerated and melted in the summer heat.What an embarrassing ordeal to have to face with so many guests around...This was my First and Last order from this place.Oh and also, the coordinator Mannerless Murray is in dire need of a crash course on how not to be passive-aggressive to your customers" and "how to dial down my rude tone in order to win customers" and "2022 - a year to change myself and adopt Kindness!""

My new go to for chocolate brownie. The raspberry chocolate one is to die for. A+++

Literally the best Chocolate mud cake ever, have had multiple cakes from here, contacted the store via email and had a reply super quickly! Easy enough to just order a cake online and pricing is affordable. Great service and happy to support local companies! :)

100% Recommend!! I explained to the guy what I wanted and he gave me exactly what I imagined! I was so happy when I saw it on pickup. Cake was delicious too, all guests complimented the cake as well so it was not just me who loved it.. Would definitely order again, such a fair price compared to these other places. Also, he was so honest and was not pushy at all, was even telling me the bigger size (which would have raked in more money for him) was too big as well. Thanks again to everyone at the Botany store!!

When I tell you this company went above and beyond, I mean it.I ordered 3 cakes:- Chocolate- White chocolate raspberry- 2 tiered carrot cake 4 layers with white buttercream!The owner made it easy, gave suggestions and were made sure I was happy every step of the way. Unbelievably accomodating with pick-up times and was so professional and polite from start to finish.NOW the CAKE/s!So moist, so stunning, and the carrot cake is the best I have ever had!!!!!Cannot rate this company high enough and we have been ordering chocolate cakes from them for as long as I can remember (I am not a chocolate cake fan, their chocolate cake is the only one I love and eat) but who knew they were hiding the carrot cake of all carrot cakes in there! And the carrot cake freezes wonderfully and defrosts and still tastes fresh and I get to relive my wedding cake every time I take a piece from the freezer.So many people asked where we got our cakes from and I’m hoping they will order from here because of it. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Supporting a small business feels good and this is one you can support and not compromise on anything. I ordered a Liverpool Football Club cake for my son's 21st.I couldn't believe what they created just from me emailing a photo of the LFC logo to them. It far exceeded my expectations.Nothing was too much trouble and the cake was absolutely beautiful.I will continue to buy from and recommend The Chocolate Cake Company.

Very disappointed! My friend got a cake from here with a printing of her two lovely birds and her husband as it was his birthday.Not only was the owner rude and unhelpful, he refused to refund! We could only pick up at 5pm even though it was ordered for 12 noon since the shop was closed.My friends husband did not get to cut his own birthday cake! Very unprofessional service!

We had a chocolate cake from here for a friends birthday. The cake was really rich and tasty. It was simply decorated but it was still nice.
