Like a lot of the other reviews here, Condescending communication and unrealistic charges even though (and probably because) I didn't follow through with using them past the preliminary communication (couple emails followed by an almost 1k bill)

The team at Fitzherbert Rowe are very professional, hard working and focused on getting the right result for you. They are upfront and honest and don't beat about the bush. I like that, and I also like that they are local people who support their local community. Highly recommended for any type of legal support you may need, be it personal or business related.

I popped into the office in the building of Crombie Lockwood. Very quick trip in the lift up to 8th floor. The staff were very helpful in helping me with my EPA documents.

I received a letter for the previous owners of my property. Both people are deceased, one for over 25 years & the other around 18-20. Seems they were advising customers of changes to their business. I wonder, out of the 6,000 letters were like the one in my letterbox, or returned for other reasons. Seems a huge waste of money for any establishment. I destroyed the letter as I was instructed to do.

Upsetting experience. I approached Sam Rowe to scope some legal services which I didn't end up pursuing. It was not made clear to me that I was to be charged for making these enquiries with him.I was sent a $424 bill for a quick phone call and a few emails and subsequently threatened with debt collection for contesting it.The email responses from Sam and the office team were cold, rude and dismissive.I ended up just paying the bill to clear some headspace and to not have to speak with them again.Shame on this company for having the audacity to treat honest, hardworking people like this.

Rip off. I was invoiced $300 for a 15 minute conversation - and over 10 minutes of this was spent discussing non work related issues - family and the weather etc.They also did some work I didn’t authorise and tried to invoice me for this as well.When I raised this, I was told their advice (which was generic and nothing I couldn’t have googled) had given me a massive risk reduction.My advice is don’t use them. If you absolutely have to, have a very clear work scope and ensure they charge only the pre-agreed time and amount.UPDATE: for anyone who might be interested… I complained at the time but the resolution involved them telling me I was wrong and explaining that work was done outside the conversation. It didn’t seem relevant that I hadn’t authorised it. Must have needed somewhere to charge something to their 15 min time slots. My review isn’t a complaint, it is a review. The only reason for the offer to resolve is because of public review. Here’s an idea, how about offering the complaint process before I do my review!

Made to feel welcome and listened to. Parking is an issue.

Very disappointed in my lawyer your fancy words and reports don't impress me compassion,results and value has more impact.i had to go around your lawyer to get results if I had left it for her I would of been broke
