Expensive!!!! and not cut correctly. Not cut the way I wanted and some hairs still long in places (missed) cut my head too. I don't recommend going there.

Worst place to get your haircut. Asked for a fade and they didn't even do a fade just an all round two and brought it up so high that my hair is basically a Mohawk. The owner is so incredibly delusional about his work (he thinks he's good at cutting hair) to the point he should be institualized. The prices you'll pay at that dump is the same as a place that can actually cut hair. Stop supporting this business.

I just want to acknowledge the professional and friendly visit each time my elderly father visits for a cut. Fred is always so patient and hands on to assist with dads mobility, and always produces the perfect cut:-)Really appreciate the work he is doing for the community.Big thanks for the Batman BMX bike for my 5 yr old nephew XXX

Terrible experience. My boyfriend went there and didn’t realize how bad was it before I told him.The man shaved the front of his hairs! The hair cut is not even straight.He started to shaved his beard but didn’t finish and cut his face.It’s not the haircut my friend asked for, but if it has been done correctly we could forget it.Just have to wait now and go back to an other hairdresser..

Crew are always excellent, especially Fred who gives you the impression you're being looked after by AL Capones barber, so you know you are getting a first class job.Have to say, Fred is a very compassionate man. When my daughter passed away, Fred refused to charge me. Now isn't he a blessed man!The girls that work there also give a pretty good clip. Fred does a lot to help young people, and if I can help by patronizing Hair Mechanics, so be it.

Staff needs to be more professional, when ever they hire a new staff there a new rules, my partner was turned away 20 minutes before the shop was meant to close, if that is the case why do you have it as no appointments needed? Old staff’s have been doing there job even if a customer showed up 5 minutes before closing time. By doing this you guys are just loosing customer’s and it will be better to make it appointment basis if you are going to turn customers away even when you have 20 minutes to close the shop. Or teach your new staff how the shop works when you train them..

Hi I will never recommend anyone because of the painful experience which i had . Let me explainI had gone to hair mechanic @ southcity for straightening my hair everything was going fine until it happened. The old lady i don’t know her name but if I’m sure she might be the boss . She just burned my skull with the straightening machine it was very painful . When i asked her she just pointed the straightening machine towards me and told me to do it by myself and told she is having 40 years of experience.I was really shocked by her behaviour. What an attitude. I should also say that there are lots of other staff who are really good ( laura & Steve) they are awesome well behaved and know their job. I’m really sorry for this bad review and I will never be back to this shop and won’t recommend to anyone.Just a small advice to the old lady ( sorry i don’t know her name) even if you are experienced you are spoiling everything with your bad attitude. You should give more value to the customer don’t treat them like your worker .Thanks

It was a terrible experience with this barber shop. Wish I could give them 0 starts but there is no option for that. Went for my haircut and asked for a little short from the side, showed the picture as well but he made it way too short and also cut it too much on top which was looking so ugly when I asked why did you cut on top which I wasn’t asked for, then instead of apologising just smiling and saying it just hair will be grown up which was very annoyed. Then he just started his trimmer on my beard without even my permission when asked for it then he said just making the shape and I mentioned to him that just had my beard done a couple of days ago. Instead of making shape he just made my beard shorter and made the cut and clean the blood and did not even probably shave it which you can see in the picture. Went for only a haircut but end it up with a beard cut too. This is all done in 8-10 mins and they charge $50.Would not recommend this place to anyone.
