Awesome place for camp. River is very close by for swim. Love this place.

Went here at the end of January, it was hot so very pleased the river was close, its a great spot, the current is variable and you will find swim shoes of benefit when crossing the rocks.Good assortment of fire pits, even some pine tree firewood in one corner if you were brave enough to tackle the pile.We camped in one corner and there was stil a heap of room for everyone else, lots of groups came out just for the day with a bbq and a swim, so great vibes to the place.For me the highlight was the dark skies, it was so clear you could see the fuzzy nebulosity of the Nebula in Orions sword, so a great venue for astrophotography and stargazing in general, and that will bring me back every time. Just be aware the Toilet is closed from 1 March to 31 October, the website has a different date on it

Loved it, the kids swum in the river all day everyday, big open area to accommodate heaps of campers and with toilets facilities.Big Thank You to the land owners.

Looked like a nice place but were there just after cyclone Grace very wet to soft to drive on needs clean up and a homes guy there needs looking into just been back to have a look Homeless guy is gon place is still a mess look out for nails and very muddy walk in first very soft

Great place to camp! We are all self contained and great spot. A few young partyers left a huge mess which we cleaned up was dippappointing from them.

Great place to park up in an away place cpong / motor home no water on site vault type toilet note small children to be accompanied when using. Safe to swim in river with caution

If you are looking for terrific place to go free camping, in a sheltered river valley, you can't beat Bartletts Ford. A modern vault toilet has recently been installed. Best of all it's free.

Fantastic place. Beautiful setting grand time had by all 30 of us. Great swimming too. Toilet gets cleaned daily. It is a long drop by the way. Supplied with toilet paper
