We had an amazing time at Sobar & cafe. The food was great, portion were huge and the service was awesome. Would recommend for anyone looking for a good time & good food

Unfortunately a pretty average experience. Fish and chips with no really love. A mixed platter with edemame beans that were cooked to absolute death. The food sort of gave a cooked from a frozen bag" kind of impression. No burger buns available

We came here for dinner tonight, arrived at 7pm and the 2 staff members didn’t even acknowledge us while we waited to be seated or get menus. When they finally did give us the menus and we ordered the wait to get the food was nearly 1hr! The place wasn’t even busy and their excuse was having only 1 chef. We are still waiting for our food while our kids go a bit haywire!

Excellent fried food. Cooked at the perfect temperature. Vegetarian dumplings and vegetable burger also excellent. Nice service too. Happy customers.

Ordered a gourmet cheese and onion toasted sandwich (chefs secret recipe) was plain white bread with a bit of red onion and small amount of cheese. Ordered 3 types of tapas one of which never arrived. Had told the lady we were vegetarian and one of the tapas was arancini balls which had meat in the middle. She informed us they weren’t the ones they had ordered. Not sure how they even served those without knowing what they were serving. Asked for our money back which was an inconvenience to them and no effort was made to rectify the situation. Would not recommend this place at all. Get your act together, people pay good money for food and keep you in a job. Didn’t want to put a star but couldn’t post this without doing it.

Drinks specials advertised… not carried out.. cocktails juice with some flowers? However I have to note, the ambiance here is impeccable. Seems to be like the go to local spot on a weekend night. Come here for live music, dancing, and great people watching. Just don’t order a cocktail. Stick with a beer instead :)

Really lovely fresh fish. So tasty and hot. Mean hot dogs and chips for my 6yr old.Very filling. Lots of sauces to use and dipping sauces. Would eat again there.Friendly staff. Seats not very comfy. Clean and tidy

in March we went as a family 5 adults (34-69 years old) and 4 children (aged from 1-10) the food and service was amazing.So friendly a very enjoyable experience. We had been across the road at the cat cafe which everyone also enjoyed

the best thing about this place is that if you have a family with a variety of tastes that you will find something to make everyone happy. Gourmet hot dog, burgers, chicken, vegetarian etc and the quality was great. The place had gas heaters to keep us warm on a cold night so all good. Very happy with our selection.
