Lady on the reception wasn't even ready to listen me and I'm just trying to make her understand what had happened and she was very rude and aggressive and telling me that she can't do anything as this is the law. I mean that was really unexpected and I told her that I'm not happy with your answer. Again she was like I can't do anything I just wasted my 15 minutes over there even I showed her the evidence still she was on the same tone. NZ police doesn't do anything you need to help by yourself. Stay safe.

Am happy to change rating in future.I was waiting in line for about an hour only to be told they weren't able to help (had fresh and clear fingerprints on my car of a recent attempted break-in on a newish car on a spot that isn't often touched).I understand being busy and understaffed but it would have been nice if someone could have at least quickly checked out with the people waiting in line to let us know if we should wait or not. It'd only have taken a few seconds to ask.One person next to me was complaining to me about the slow service and that he'd been back multiple times due to waiting.The officers were at least polite so I have given a 2 star rating. Hopefully next time these things can be improved please!

Shocking speed of response and the criminal were caught very quickly!The polices and detectives gave me a great sense of security.They worked through the night and keep placating me.The loot was recovered as well.I am so thankful what the polices and detectives did.

I had to pop in once to sort out an issue regarding damage to my car and both the officers I spoke to and office staff were super helpful with the process and made sure that they helped in whatever way they could. Definitely a bunch of good blokes there.

Not a frequent caller to the police so when ringing the Henderson Police station to make an enquiry I was surprised to be met by an unpleasant 'Colin' manning the phonelines. Quick to judge, impatient when questioning my query and barked short statements like ' So what do you want?' proceeded by 'I can't give information over the phone!'. Instead of allowing me to respond to his barks, to ask about the process, he then transferred me straight to the automated customer feedback survey.Heads up, not everyone is au fait in police protocols, and genuinely need help. Perhaps get others to man the phones if you find community members a nuisance to talk to.

Receptionist is no help at all and frankly comes off rude. Went in to report a crime I'd be asked to report (by police) and then in turn threatened with an arrest due my actions trying to defend myself from 2 aggressors. Not actually sure what police do anymore ??

Went there to report an assault robbery but i was asked to call the hotline instead. Seriously? I'm already there infront of them and the guy named Paul (indian) told me to just call the hotline because no one will take my report. When i called the hotline the man i spoke with found out that im there in henderson police station, and want to speak with man who i first talked to and said to pls take my statement and he apologised on behalf of that police. After that Paul told me, I am lucky that someone will attend to me because normally there is no one available.and afterwards he is headed to go home, no wonder he doesn't want to attend my needs. Unbelievable! Please train them to be more empathetic specially to victims!

They don’t to respond to 111 calls when your are in danger In west Auckland

Very friendly and helpful. Interested in my report and took detailed notes. No complaints at all.

One of my stolen vehicles was towed by them to do forensics. I reluctantly agreed for the vehicle to be towed after I was assured by their constable that police would pay for the tow, I ended up paying to get the vehicle released. Later upon pursuance, I was reassured I would be reimbursed, it's been around a year since all of this happened, still no reimbursement Moral of the story, never take a cops word.
