Helen is amazing! I had not had a wax before and I was nervous but I need not have been. Helen put me at ease with her humour and conversation and I left feeling so cheerful. She has this amazing way of disguising the pain which was so much better than I thought it would be. I will be a customer for life! Thank you Helen, see you soon :-)

Helen is fantastic, as a first time waxer I was a bit nervous about going but she's incredibly friendly and makes great conversation! I've already been back to see her. Her studio has a great location (nice being able to easily find parks) and really clean.

Helen makes the process so easy and most of all comfortable with not only her warm friendly smile and home but she makes the most awkward appointment feel like you’re just getting your nails done. Highly recommend she takes her time to be very thorough and is always consistent each visit making sure you follow your after care as well. I commute from manurewa and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Helen is a gem. She’s very thorough and holds such great conversation you’d forget you were even getting waxed! The location is great as its not along the busy main road and very easy access. Overall experience was awesome. I’ll defs be back. Highly recommend. :)

She is AMAZING!! I booked her last minute in the afternoon after reading all of the other great reviews and they were all true to their word! Helen makes you feel at home while she tends to your every need. After a bad experience with waxing previously, she reassured and really took care of me. The amount of detail and care she has for her clients is outstanding. Her services and personality are top of the line. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment.

Helen does great work! And, when you get there, she makes you feel like you’ve been a client forever. I’ve sent all my friends and air bnb guests to her. It’s good to book early but she has also been super helpful and flexible when I was in a pinch. Her place is always clean and warm. Helen is a true pro because it’s the most comfortable wax I’ve ever had... as far as waxing goes haha! All my waxing gets done at Wax Out West!

I came to Helen for my first Brazilian Wax 5-6 years ago and I have never been anywhere else. I have moved away from New Lynn but I still drive 20-30mins to go and get my wax done by her. She is quick which I love, very friendly and made me feel so comfortable the first time that I am now a regular customer. She’s very professional, friendly, explains what she’s doing. She is great! I have even recommended her to friends who now also go to her too.
