New Plymouth CourierPost Depot

So annoyed!!! Ordered my sons birthday present last week and had asked for package to be signed for coz its a big thing and a big deal and also had a note on delivery instructions that if no one is home please ring me". It got delivered on Friday which was great (2 day delivery)

The driver got the address mixed up and deliver the 'card to call' to the wrong address. I was at home waiting for the parcel to arrive so when I receive an email notification with the driver update saying the parcel couldn't be deliver I run to the road and see him (white Toyota van, asian driver) driving away. I spent an hour trying to reach someone to speak to from the New Plymouth or NZ branch (not an answering machine) to explain the situation. At the end, I managed to someone that escalate the case to Justin. He explained the driver went to my home address by looking at the GPS so he won't go back until Monday. He tried to speak to driver to get his side of the story but couldn't get hold of him. I'm in New Plymouth, 15 minutes from their depot store but the driver can't do the delivery even when I paid an overnight courier to get this item deliver on Friday since I need urgently for work. Courier Post (Justin) said my next option instead of waiting until Monday is to pick up the parcel MYSELF!A very bad experience with New Plymouth Courier Post.

Awesome service but there 0800 line is hard to deal with

My last 3 orders the courier driver has left a pick up slip without knocking on the door or even coming onto the property, and have had to pick up or redeliver my package (redelivery costs me an extra 5 dollars for the couriers laziness). We have had someone home for all 3 of the orders I have made, and have a dog that would heard the knock on the door. Courier was possibly frightened by the 12 year old chihuahua.

Always helpful staff there

Can barely call themselves a delivery service if they don't deliver! Too lazy to walk up to your house and actually knock on the door, so you could open cause you're home and waiting for that parcel all morning long. Customer service Hotline was very friendly tho. But when asking the driver to come back, his answer was he's got 200 more parcels too deliver today, so no.And asking why he did not knock, his reply was, it wasn't save to park there. There is plenty of save parking here and he must've parked somewhere to leave the card in my postbox!So damn lazy!

Staff and service here friendly, efficient and very helpful. As with all courier companies these people are experiencing really hard times with the chaos being caused by covid border delays etc. It is said that if everything returned to normal right now it would take a year and a half to catch up. Spare a thought for these people if you encounter delivery problems They are doing their bestJohn Hart.

Very cool staff, helpful, friendly, well managed and I really like going there. These guys do a stellar job and are doing their utmost to get your parcels into your hands as quickly and safely as possible.
