Certainly the smallest cinema ive ever been too. Tucked inside the Aquarium, there are 2 or 3 viewing rooms that each seat around 12 - 20 people. I love that there aren't 30 minutes of ads before the film, so make sure youre on time.

Fantastic place for Picton, love going to the movies there. Had a great night tonight apart form my insane phone call which i had to take in hallway. Thank you guys Warren and I loved it and will continue to send heaps of people your way. Thanks JJ

Never been to Picton before and came here with a campervan during very wet and rainy days. Decided to go to the cinema and it was great. Enterance through the Aquarium and was very surprised by a lovely old school, small movie theater. Enjoyed it!

It was drizzling today and we were just getting a shelter at the entrance while waiting for our driver to come over. It wasn't easy as we have our granny on wheelchair. We were not blocking the entrance but just seeking shelter for a short while. We were told off by a staff to leave the place. He wasn't rude but unpleasant. He infered that we might be blocking the business. It was empty there anyway coz its like 9.15am.We have to wheel our granny out under the rain. I think they should have spared some thoughts for a handicap person. Very inconsiderate staffs.

The movie was great ! However the staff member at the aquarium who twisted my daughter head away from looking at the star fish was uncalled for. My nana and I were in the toilet , my 7 year old was just being a kid no need to turn her head away from looking. Really annoyed me ! Don’t touch other people kids. Just ask us. Other than that awesome cinema.

Totally love this gorgeous cinema and aquarium located on the Picton foreshore.Not many can boast comfortable seating for a 2.5 hour movie.Loved the Elvis movie on a wet afternoon, with the big screen was transported back to the 1960’s and 1970’s.Vote with your feet Marlborough and keep our aquarium and cinema open for all to enjoy.

Not bad considering the size of Picton. Get a free view of the fish aquarium on your way to the cinema room. Sometimes overheard sounds from the movie running next door, but it was ok. Comfy chairs.
