Village Cafe
Witness today of an elderly lady and grandmother being abused by a staff member for putting a hand on the outside of the food cabinet. Lady seemed to need to steady herself and had a limp. I cannot see why this was such a problem the cabinet was very sturdy. Seems the Cafe manager has major issues about possible finger prints. Yelling and screaming from staff member could be heard right out in the courtyard by all of us dining. I found this all to be so unprofessional and literally customer abuse. I will recommend all of my family and friends to avoid the place !

Amazing people and food! Came here this morning for brunch, I got the eggs bene with bacon, my partner got the potato hash Spinach and eggs. Both were demolished within seconds. Asked them to make a dirty Chai(Chai latte with espresso shot) which they had never done before but they made it very well and tasted delicious!

Lovely cafe! Has a warm yet modern set up, the service was good very friendly staff fast and efficient with our orders. I ordered a salmon eggs Benedict and a latte salmon fully cooked and eggs just how I like it sunny side up and fully cooked. Enjoyed every bit. They didn't have hazelnut syrup (my usual) they only had coconut and vanilla which I'm okay with. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast and lunch.We are going back there tomorrow, I'll update with more informationThanks.

Avocado smash and poached eggs must be the best bargain ever at nzd$13.50. Delicious. This cafe is popular with locals and worth looking for down a small alley in the main shopping street.

Amazing breakfast as well as ambiance and service.. we had a coffee, salmon bagel and fritatta. I agree with the higher prices but you get a good portion and excellent taste with it

Came in here for coffee and breakfast and everything was wonderful! Friendly service woth great coffee and the big breakfast I had was fulfilling. Thumbs up guys!

One of the worst coffee I’ve ever had! It tastes like an expired coffee and their milk tastes like water also the cashier is so rude. Please don’t waste your money there.
