I brought my Mum here for the high tea for her birthday. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Bottomless pot of tea with choice of English breakfast or Earl Grey. As you can see from photo, there was plenty of food (in fact I took 3 takeaway boxes of leftovers back to work for the boys for smoko!).I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion. Only disappointment was I had to go back to work!

5 stars on food service and atmosphere...however it is eclectic. In a good way.I asked for two eggs with a meat pie.They brought it out with the eggs on top just as I would have done it at home.Brilliant.Warm and friendly staff.A must stop and see costume shop even if you do not eat.

What a great place for a coffee and a bit to eat all at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and helpful.For me there was a nice ambiance there where you can relax and enjoy your time there. I had a long black and a scone with raspberry jam and whipped cream about an hour and half later we left. The cost was reasonable

Amber's fish and chips were delicious and Kris makes a lovely chai latte. Great service, friendly staff and relaxing surroundings. Will be a regular every time we are up from Christchurch x

Back for second high tea with the family today and already looking forward to visiting again next holidays!So accommodating and friendly service. Lovely table settings for high tea. Perfect for introducing the neices to high tea.Thank you for the very enjoyable experience.

I was amazed by the quality of the food, the lovely gift selections as well as the choice for costume hire. Tgd staff are lovely and very helpful. If you haven't called in I woukd suggest that you do!
