I first used UDR to replace the old cedar doors at my first/present home. The process was so easy & they did an awesome job. I wanted white doors but Fordy recommended I went with a different shade & I am so grateful for his suggestions. They really blend well with everything else in the house. I was so pleased with my doors that I once again used them to replace my lounge window with a sliding door, which I also am so happy with. My parents used their services with replacing their doors & retrofitting windows on the house they recently moved into. They really appreciated Fordy being so patient with them & explaining everything clearly. We have had amazing service with great advice & quality product/installation each time. Would gladly recommend them to others.

From the moment we contacted Ultimate Design we had a thoroughly personable and professional experience. The representative was friendly, clear about what they could do for us and everything it would entail. He listened well to the suggestions we wanted. They proved to be incredibly good to work with, on time, provided excellent communication throughout. And did a first class job. We love our big conservatory. It's made us really enjoy an extra room and space needed as a big family. The workmanship has proven weather proof and anything we were concerned about was inspected and adjusted quickly if needed. We highly recommend this company that show integrity and first class customer service.

The team at UDR were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Fordy was extremely helpful and his communication was great. Matt did an awesome job removing our old and installing our new conservatory, we were so surprised at how quickly he worked and again the communication was amazing. Over the last few weeks, we've been working with Ultimate Design to put six widely varying doors and windows into our 1950's house. We requested quotes from a number of companies but Ultimate was the only one who clearly wanted our business. The quote was presented in person and Fordy was always available to answer questions.The two installers were respectful and did a great job cleaning up the debris. Communication about on site visits was always clear and even the slight blemish we discovered today was accepted without question and quickly dealt with.Finally, the windows look great! It's made an amazing difference to the look and warmth of our place. We will definitely be using Ultimate again as we complete the reglazing of our house in stages.

Cannot fault the experience we have had with UDR.Hannah was our first contact, she is super lovely, professional and understood our needs and requests. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to Hannah or UDR.The installers were very professional, efficient and tidy in their work.I love our windows and door, and we will return to UDR to finish the house off when we can.

Edit to add as I forgot with the hectic season of Christmas and new year. At the beginning of December 2022. I received a call as a follow up to my online review. I got to voice all my concerns and was told they will mention it at the next meeting to address the issues and change the way for future clients. I was asked if I could change my review to a more positive one in exchange for a Christmas ham for the trouble and reassured that even if i dont change the review i will still get the ham. So here is my updated positive review the ham was delicious thank you. All sales reps are fantastic especially Fordy and most on-site workers are great but still doesn't change my review of phone calls to the office and trouble I had to get things fixed and in working order.Original review belowDON'T USE THIS COMPANY!It has been an absolute nightmare to use this company! Had them install double glazing as well as a new roof for the conservatory. When things went wrong and the new roof leaked and windows not in working order etc they just blame the subcontractors. I was told by the owners partner they no longer use subcontractors due to the poor quality of work they were doing,which is lie because i have had multiple subcontractors come back and fix things. Kelly is rude when dealing with her on the phone no customer service skills at all.NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY OR RECOMMEND THEM

We recently had UDR install double glazing at our house in Methven.Ashleigh came out to talk us through it and was amazing! Made the entire process simple and stress free. The process took 3 days to complete and the builders were great. Our job got pushed forward so we had plywood in some of our window frames for a few days but that was fine. We highly recommend these guys. They came in cheaper than local Ashburton companies.

I cannot fault the team at UDR at all, from the original consult, and the communication throughout from the consultant Hannah.The end result, a smart set of double glazed windows for my home which were installed professionally and quickly by a friendly team of building contractors.Just a pleasure to deal with all round.I wholeheartedly thank you guys for your patience while I negotiated the nightmare finance process I had with my bank. legends!!

I had double glazing installed a fortnight ago by Ultimate Design & Renovation. Fordy was very professional, offered advice based on his experience. He was very responsive whenever I had any queries. The installers were very friendly, professional and completed the job in a timely fashion. Even in very this short period of time I can feel the difference with the new windows. I definitely recommend this company and would use them again.
