Eastbourne's chippy. Standard fish are pretty poor, but the fresh fillets are good. Chinese food is also ok, if you don't want fish n' chips. A little expensive.

Decided to treat myself but was extremely disappointed. The food was revolting. Chips were rubbery and stale. Fish was cooked in thick rubbery batter. I hate food waste but most of my meal was thrown out. Sort it out guys - wish I had read your other reviews before buying. Certainly will never be back. What a rip off taking my hard earned money for such rubbish food.

If I could give a zero I would. The lemon chicken is a dried up crusty meal of tasteless shute.. this is the third chance we have given them but no more. The ginger and spring onion rice is ok but not good enough to cancel the lemon chick.

Just visiting the parents in Eastbourne from Auckland and always love this takeaway shop here, much better than the Auckland fish and chip shops! Love your fish, steamed dimsims and your burgers! Also your Chinese food is good too.

Very disappointing. Chips were dry and stale and fish wasn’t fresh. Fish was a bit better than their ‘days’ old chips (a lot of which were brown as well). Don’t think I’ll be back for another try.

Crunchy chips, try the garlic butter. Suggest a colab with the neighboring dairy for a sante bar to stick in your jam donut

Only gave a star to write a review otherwise no star!! Golden is an understatement, Overpriced and inedible! An absolute shamble! Only for the seagulls to enjoy! No recommendations!!! The community of Eastbourne should protest to have this place closed!!

I ordered a simple dish sweet and sour pork total was 20.90 quite an expensive meal got the good and ate it back at home and to say it was dissapointing is an understatement the sauce was bland and tasted like it was bottled and watered down the pork was chewy no flavor and the fried batter was half the pork the vegetables were clearly old and chucked in to use them and they were all unappetizing for a meal costing over $20 you'd expect to be full and having been satisfied with a great tasting meal however that wasn't the case please do not order anything with pork off this menu or any vege related dish as I can guarantee ypu will be dissapointed and down money that could have been spent on actual palatable food for much cheaper then this scam.

Look these people have been In Eastbourne for sometime and as a true kiwi lad grew up on FNC and pies truth be told. I’m prefacing this because I know my FNC! And this is one of the best. I particularly enjoy the ordering online option which is time saving and exemplary! 9 times out of 10. And as a basic kiwi lad I’ve really only had FNC at this FNC though their menu appears to be extensive. I LOVE their shoestring fries and battered fish. If you are In Eastbourne go there!! There is an other option but … NOPE. There really is only one. But if you’d rather a pie cross the road! That bakery is another !!!!!!!!
