Thanks Mavis & Co Rototuna:) You helped brighten the day for myself and my 4 lovely daughters. We don’t get to eat out together very often, so when we do, we hope it will be extra special! Your wait staff were friendly and attentive (without being in our faces!) and the food was absolutely delicious. Please tell your chefs that we were grateful for the time they took to produce delicious quality food, especially on a hot day! My brioche French toast……..oh Lordy it was perfect! Thank you :)

Mavis & Co Rototuna
We have a Mavis and Co cafe close to where we live, but we have been out to their Rototuna cafe a few times. It’s a great little location. It feels a bit more open, all the furniture is modern and fresh feeling. The food is familiar, great quality, decent sized cakes and other goodies. The staff are pretty attentive and make a good selection of drinks too. I tried a smoothie last time I was there and it was delicious.

Food is good and tasty, coffee is average though, depends on which staff does it for you. We were there one lunch time, staff looked tired and lack of energy. No smiles. Other than that, plenty parking spaces and central location, right next to New World. They also do dinner. Good and unique selections of food from the menu. Good interior ambience. Always have customers inside which means it is popular with locals. Recommending a try.

So pleased Mavis & Co have opened for dinner. Stunning food tonight. Very generous servings. My fav was the most tender lamp rack entree I've had in years.

Mavis & Co Rototuna
We had lunch here today, the food was magical. 5 stars to the Belgian Waffles, Brownie, Scone and Mocha. 4.5 stars for the Turkish eggs. 5 stars for their service.Update: Tried their new Lamb Naan and Southern Fried Chicken Burger, was blown away again by the flavours.

We went here for lunch. It was quite full but we managed to find a seat. We discovered that customer service is not prompt maybe because they are busy or understaffed. We had to get our own water and menu for ordering. The waiter with the goatie was off. We just felt we weren't welcomed. Oh, you have to pay extra for paywave. The food was tasty and the coffee was ok. Lots of parking space outside. This was our first visit to Mavis. We ended here because our favourite place was closed. The menu is quite expensive. I guess because of inflation. It may not be a good experience for us but it may turn out good for you.

Amazing service! - brought us water as soon as we were seated, gave us our food swiftly and provided kind and thoughtful service, definitely a hard working team!They also brought our food out quickly for 6 people and it tasted delicious all around.The coffee was amazing, the drinks were tasty as well as refreshing!And the food was fantastic and presented extremely professionally.Food portions were also worth the price.Unfortunately I didn’t manage to take any photos aside from the calamari, but definitely coming back!Thanks for being open during New Years and working hard!

Lovely place to enjoy breakfast. Nice coffee.3 star for service as had to ask 4 extra butter & it was forgotten..also friend had none for his breakfast toast. If I'd gone to get they would have been more than obliging I'm sure.
