The Woods Photography

We had our doubts looking for wedding photographers...we are not a centre of attention couple, we do shy away from photos, we were nervous on the day, we never thought photos of us would be that great. WOW did Brad and Clouds deliver...if you are questioning asking them DO IT..it will be a decision you will be thankful for forever. We had a coffee with them the day before our wedding but apart from that had never meet them. They were both exceptionally helpful, friendly and calming influences, photos are adorable, they captured so many moments/things I completely missed on the day, our guests loved them and they were completely at ease with our closest family and friends. They travelled to Wanaka for us and were still very well priced. We got oodles of photos (each one in colour and monochrome) and in only 3wks after our wedding. Anyone who has met Brad & Clouds knows what a privilege it is to have them share in the joy of your day.If you are considering asking these two wonderful people and talented photographic duo to be a part of your event we cannot recommend them highly enough. It was the best decision we made and we look forward to another family event so we can invite them along to hang with us for a day!!

We used this photography duo for our wedding in July, Brad traveled from Nelson to Taranaki for a very small and reasonable fee. We cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and care throughout the whole process. Brad was friendly, helpful and enthusiastic and many of our guests commented on how wonderful he was. The photos we received of the day well exceeded all of our expectations. Absolutely brilliant. Would happily recommend to anyone.

As another review said 5 stars just isn't enough for Brad. Extremely talented, humble and lovely guy. His work just captures the essence of love and joy in the day, while being so natural and real. Just love it! I was so excited to have him capture our special day. And of course he blew me away with his fabulous work and we are just so over the moon with our photos. Brad photographed our wedding which was a rainy summers day. The photos are absolutely stunning. You wouldn't know it was raining! Brad captured some beautiful evening shots of us dancing outside with the raindrops in the night sky. We love looking back at our album and remembering such a special day in our lives. Brad's pictures were more than a dream come true, and he's also an amazing person.Both my now husband and I live abroad, so when we went home to Nelson for the Christmas holidays last year, Brad met with us for a coffee and a chat about the big day. Then this year we met again before the wedding for the last minute details. During the whole time abroad he was always very responsive to emails and questions coming from our side, we felt very supported along the way.During the day he was incredible, he made the pictures be a great experience instead of a chore. We had the best experience with Brad. Being a photographer myself, I spent lots of time searching for a photographer who takes a candid approach to wedding photography and whose colours are natural/warm with balanced skin tones so that the photos stand the test of time. The Woods Photography was the one! Brad was a pleasure to work with, and we received the entire gallery within 5 weeks of our wedding day. The photos captured all of the joy, the funny candid moments, and most importantly, they take us back into the moments when we scroll through the gallery.
