Such an excellent afternoon! The various Gins are really delicious and we came away with a couple of bottles to take home. My favourite was the Meow Lucky Gin with a hint of sichuan pepper. The building is absolutely stunning and a gem of Art Deco in the Art Deco Capital. We were highly entertained by Ginny, who served us the various tastings and gave us so many interesting insights into Napier and its history. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing place, great Gins and super friendly staff

Not visited but just purchased a bottle of Aquifer Plateau Vodka from Big Barrel Havelock North. I would give it 10 /10 for smoothness and outstanding performance.

Lovely place for a gin tasting! The hall is very nice and there's a great atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, but without being overbearing or pressuring at all.There's a big range of gins and you can say which you're most interested in. There were a few we really liked, and it was so nice that you can taste them with tonic water, like how I actually drink it. They were so generous that we had to say stop at some point or we wouldn't have made it home!We bought a reasonably priced gift set of 3x200ml, which I really liked as you can so often only buy 50ml bottles when you want taster sizes. We were also able to choose the sorts we wanted in it. Highly recommend coming!

We had a fantastic experience with our gin tasting. Our guide, aptly named 'Ginny,' helped us navigate the creative and delicious flavors. By far the best tasting I have experienced! The character of the old National Tobacco Company building really adds to the tasting experience. A must-visit while in Hawkes Bay!

We had the pleasure of a tasting with Callista on Saturday, what a marvelous asset she is to the team at NDC, such an interesting and fun time in a beautiful old building. Highly recommend and the Gin was pretty great too.

Just had a wonderful visit to the distillery, tasted some amazing gins. Staff were welcoming and super knowledgeable. A must visit for anyone in the Bay
