What a lifesaver! I hobbled up to the counter with a broken jandal and a desperate plea, and the repair is amazing! I have a big, delicate job I need done and will be trusting it to them after my great experience :)

I had a funeral to attend and my trousers didn't fit me so I brought a new pair and took them to Looksmart in Northlands Mall and explain my predicament to the nice lady and she did the job quickly for me while I had my lunch, she texted me as soon as it was done. So nice to know there are still kind people out there who are willing to help others

Would not recommend!!Nice staff but terrible quality, lack of detail(different stitch, Mis-matched colour cotton) frayed cotton.I had a look when I picked it up and mentioned to the lady and she just said “maybe she was in a rush”.No excuse for terrible quality for such a small job and at $25 per pant. Please put a bit more time and effort into your workmanship. Very disappointed. Need more quality assurance!!!!!

Would not recommend. They cut a hole in my dress 8 years ago when they took it in. Had I not tried to let it out, I wouldn’t have even realised their subpar work.Now, I can’t let it back out without a gaping hole. Unprofessional amateurs, in my opinion, and they wouldn't even accept responsibility for it. They even had the audacity to question if I even got it done there in there in the first place!They wouldn't repair it without charging even more than what it cost to take it in. They didn’t even thank us for picking the stitches apart for them! Then they tried to argue with me about how I have no proof the Consumer Guarantees Act and that I was in the wrong.I went through the difficulty of getting bank statements from 8 years ago but it wasn't worth dealing with the nasty, unprofessional, condescending manager. They most likely wiped my record from their transactions history because there's no way that my details were not registered yet was logged in my bank statement.

Went here to have 12 curtains altered - they wanted $90 per curtain but came down to $80. Not financially viable as that is what the curtains are worth. I managed to get someone on Facebook to it for $10 per curtain. When tailors are charging like software developers I think we have an issue.

I recently took a coat in to have a sleeve shortened and they chopped the whole thing off despite very clear written instructions and a phone call to clarify. They would only refund me the cost of the alteration and not to replace the item. This was a quality woolen coat I had taken months to find second hand and is no longer available anywhere. An equivalent replacement for me will cost over $300. They would only refund what I paid for it and I had to dig out evidence of this. So basically they ruined my coat, and I had to do the running around to be reimbursed an amount that will not replace the item. Their only solution was to make a feature" of the error by sewing it back on. I now have a sewing line through the middle of one sleeve and it's too short. Addionally they were unable to advise where or if they had a formal complaints procedure so I can only assume there isn't one. My advice is firstly not to use them but if you do

Went in for a couple of alterations done. Great advise from Kerry and staff on how to do this. Superb service. Great value. Well looked after. Would not hesitate to use again.
