Such a lovely place to have a picnic or a kids party. Fairy things hidden in the woodlands and seating available. Nice shady area on a hot day in the forest. Truely magestical.

A little hidden treasure. I'm a big fan of fairies and fairy folk, when my husband showed me that he had a surprise for me I was not expecting this at all! When I saw it I was lit up with happiness. It is seriously the cutest and most adorable thing ever. Its also so nice to see how to community went did this for everyone to see. Beyond the fairy garden in the forest is this amazing play ground for kids, again made up by the community. I can't wait to come back to show my kids one day this spot and even some of my friends.

Waitarere Fairy Garden Entrance
Fantastic. A proper adventure park for children without all the fancy protective stuff to make our kids soft but safe. Kids need to learn how to be safe (with adult guidance) and this is just the place. My Granddaughter loved it. Sure it's worrying when she's 6 meters up a climbing rope with no soft cushion to land on if she fell, but it makes them think about what they are doing and with my guidance she was fine. As for the fairy garden she was fascinated. Thanks to all the wonderful groups of people that have contributed to make my Granddaughter so happy

Such a quirky and hidden wonderland my daughter loved it here. Was a lil bit tricky to figure out which path leads there but once we did we spent over a hour enjoying everything

This was such a surprise for my kids and I! We are planning to come back and have a proper visit during the school holidays. The fairy Garden is so sweet with lots to look at, but the recycled playground is amazing!
