Excellent art and craftsmanship. Beautiful Pounamu but unfortunately the staff member there (a very sweet older lady) was mispronouncing Maori words and making culturally insensitive remarks. Made me very uncomfortable that someone working in such a sacred place was seemingly so disconnected from the culture.

Very impressive customer service by Aleigha and the team at Waewae Pounamu. With merely a day turnaround, Waewae responded to my email relating to a sold out product, listened to my requests, had their carver create the piece that I wanted and had it posted internationally with track and trace service. Fast and friendly communication. Highly recommended.
