Hibiscus Surf School - Main Beach
Our whanau love the team at Hibiscus and we couldn't speak more highly of them! Not only are they skilled and professional, but they always provide a consistently amazing experience for our 3 children, (7-11yrs), of varying abilities, and regardless of surf conditions. They go above and beyond; some days after 4hrs of the wave programme, they've taken them for an extra swim/jump of the rocks. It's why we come back year after year.

Hibiscus Surf School - Main Beach
My kids really love the instructors at Hibiscus Surf School. They have attended both the after school and holiday programs. The instructors are great fun - even on days with rough/no surf, they are creative in their choice of activities. And let's not forget the admin staff who have always been very friendly, helpful and flexible. Definitely recommend.

Matty, Willow and Gabe were outstanding instructors and made our daughters experience one that she loved! We enrolled her in the holidays grommet program and she loved every day. Conditions were tough with onshore winds and very disjointed swell, the instructors had her engaged, moving and happy all day! Highly recommend them and their programs.

My kids LOVED surfing with you! First wave was caught by both kids and they are super excited to try surfing again. Thank you for your expertise and making the lesson so much fun and most importantly keeping my kids safe!They are very sad to be missing the surf party!

I cannot recommend these surfing lessons enough! I had absolutely no experience and Willow broke it down so well. She was super supportive and encouraging! We had so much fun and caught so many waves.

Hibiscus Surf School - Main Beach
My daughter loved surfing with Hibiscus Surf School during the school holidays. I have never seen her be more excited every day when she work up. The support and coaching was spot on and she loved every minute of this. Even a jelly fish sting could not deter her from getting into the water with a surf board. So Awesome and the team was just fab! Thanks for such a great experience!

We were on our high school surf camp. The students and staff had an awesome time surfing with Hibiscus Surf School. The enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable staff help us to have great surfing experiences. All the students stood up and had smiles on their faces. We will be back and highly recommend Hibiscus Surf School.

Fantastic experience with the team. Boys enjoyed the lessons and instructors were fun/patient and knowledgable. Thanks a lot and highly recommend (our boys were 9 and 7 and on the first day my wife also had a lesson with the kids). Cheers!

What a great experience for our boys! Booking the private lesson was easy, they were very friendly and accommodating. The instructor was great! Straight away he got the boys talking about their interests to get to know them. He was very patient and encouraging! Highly recommend Hibiscus Surf School! Thank you!
