Kai Iwi Beach Play Area

Love this beach, great for the lil kids as it has a lil stream & playground.

A great location for kids with many elaborate playground features that are unique to that park.

Kai Iwi does not disappoint when you want to enjoy a family day out. Plenty of places to park, picnic tables scattered all over. We took to parking on an area of grass by the picnic tables this new year's and set up sports play for the kids, enjoyed a BBQ. They have free to use BBQs around as well. The view is beautiful. There's a kids playground just across from where we were, public changing room and toilets. There's usually an ice-cream truck parked up during summer so you can enjoy a beautiful cool ice-cream on summer's day while enjoying the beach and play area.Thoroughly enjoy the place is kept nice and tidy and the signage for whether it's safe to swim is clear.Definitely a lovely place to spend some time with the family.

Very neat rustic playground, nice to see the flying fox still running. Only problem was the small slide has a bar over the top at the start of slide and granddaughter ran straight into it with her face. So be warned for little ones

Great day spent with extended family very busy day lots of people enjoying swimming with life guard station on to keep people safe

Great park, the kids loved the flying fox. Great location by the beach.Will be back!
