They have some good prices on certain items but the service is very poor.Staff are very uptight and they don't pack your items even if you buy the bags from them.I had to pack my own and even then I had to put it on a seat as they don't have a packing station/place.Would not recommend this place to anyone.Might pay a little bit more at other supermarkets but at least the staff are friendlier and you get a service.

I’m not usually one that likes to do this because I know humans make mistakes but honestly this place can get decked. Not only tonight was I turned away after being told how beautiful I was by a so called professional part of this establishment but that same person one minute later said no to serving me wine? When I asked why I was ignored but when asking last name she was quick to speak. Absolutely disgusting and the fact your bleach lid wasn’t on correctly damaging a $300 shirt of mine. I’ll be sure this isn’t the last you hear of me because there is absolutely nothing worse then corporations mucking us around. We are fed up. I’ll be writing to fair go about how disgusting the professionalism is.

I've never really had a problem with any Christchurch supermarket. I go in, find my stuff, buy my stuff and leave. Works well for me.

Prices are getting way to high to afford. Products they used to stock are no longer available. Price of Fruit & Vege is way overboard.

New World Stanmore is wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly. Some items are over priced, but there are always bargains to be found.

Lovely space, clean, tidy, nicely laid out. Friendly and helpful staff, enjoyed my shopping experience here

A great New World, had all we were wanting and also some new coffee beans to try.Still a great store. We like to shop here.

A worker who was at the checkout at 10.33 am was seen sick and she was coughing and sneezing and would wipe her nose with her hand and then didn't sanitize or wear gloves before she scanned our food. That is very unhygienic and unprofessional, especially during covid times.
