EZU Car Rental

Poor communication. I emailed them with the times we were arriving weeks prior to our holiday, because we would be getting out of the airport right on closing time. Instead of giving us notice they called 30 minutes before closing and emailed us forms to fill out. We had to mess around with that while we were going through customs. They had weeks to send us forms, why last minute?They held $500 and said it would be retuned in 7 days. It's been 16 days and it still isn't returned. My bank needs EZU to release the funds. I emailed 3 different adresses for EZU and have recieved no reply. Don't rent here if you want your deposit back. Otherwise the car was fine.

EZU Car RentalI booked a car through Agent web site and EZU Car Rental was recommended (With a cheating high marks as many real complaints will not be shown on the agent’s web site) . I selected it. I booked a car to drive in Melbourne from 11th to 15th August. When I finished my rental, I thought everything was OK. However, on drop off, a staff of EZU had tried to find a smallest dirt and a very small scratch on the front bumper and slandered me had had an accident. At that moment, I was hurried to the Melbourne Airport. So I was unable to call the police and of course no statement was given to me and the staff hadn’t mentioned about the charge. I was also told that they knew I had bought the comprehensive insurance and there wouldn't be any worry about it. However, the insurance I bought was not for sponsoring cheating behavior and EZU was slandering on me. EZU had uphold $1500 bond and I was being preyed on freely by EZU. This kind of nasty business practice should not be existed in Australia and anywhere in the world.

Car was old and definitely showed it's age but worked relatively fine. Customer service was terrible...we couldn't get a hold of them at the airport for the shuttle service...after travelling for over 24 hours and completely exhausted. Airport staff tried calling them as well...no answer. Eventually ended up having to take a cab from the airport to pick up the car because they were closing soon at that point and we were running out of time to wait for them at the airport. When we finally got there we asked about reimbursement for the cab fare and were given an email address to contact... 1 month and 3 separate emails later I have not heard anything back from them at all.

We rented an alphard van. At first it looked great, but then we found that we could not connect phones to the Bluetooth, and there wasn't an aux port. Then we found that the radio frequencies are set for Japan, so we loose 90% of fm stations. Then we found that the air conditioning only works for about 30 minutes. So all that might be a 4 star review for a budget rental, but then I found that the rear right tire has a leak and will drop from 32psi to 15 psi in about 12 hours. It holds about there. Then we saw the condition on the inside of then front tires: 0 tread. These last two things affect driver safety and hence the 3 star review. I told the company about these issues when I returned the van. If you get an alpha's from in Feb 2023, check these issues.

Hired Rav4 for 3 days. vehicle was fine except smelt of smoke. Service appallingly slow though, it took 30 mins just to get keys to the vehicle. Old fashioned system. Also seek $500 or $1000 bond which is annoying. Avoid if other options available.

Rented a camry, pick up was quick, car had been in several accidents, one where some tape was clearly visible. Tire thread on minimum, windshield wiper I had replaced they were so bad(no refund) no windshieldwasherfluid, so if you want to pay half of brand rental cars and have fun fixing thats fine, I will just go with Europcar again next time

Use their rental service from 4-8 June. Much cheaper than other rental provider. Car was new and no problem. Pick up and return the car was easy. Will definitely use their service again.

Used Ezu for two and a half weeks while we were in Auckland. Returned to Melbourne on the 23rd of May.Had a such a good experience. I read through the reviews and was just hoping for the best. When we arrived into AKL, it was AHs so there was a plan for Heartland hotel shuttle to pick us up to take us to our van, we received a call the day before advising us of the plan and there was also an email.The van we got was perfect and such a good price at $65 a day compared to all other companies $180-$200 a day.Will definitely use EZU when we go back in September.Thank you Max for making this experience a breeze.
