Fergusson's Motor Lodge
The owner was very friendly, the room was tastefully appointed and was equipped with all necessary items. The location is good, with the supermarket, cinema and several restaurants close by. Comfortable bed made for a good night's rest. Will stay again.

I stayed here 1 night for work. I got a fabulous home cooked dinner and pudding which was delicious, for $27. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the spa bath was amazing. Only gripe was no sugar in my room. Great place to stay.

Very happy staff welling to go above and beyond. The owner Very helpful and easy to talk to and he often home cook meals and hot cook breakfast to. Location great as new world is less then a min walk and very close to town. Rooms are excellent and clean lots of space. Room is equipped with everything you need. Nice and quiet place to stay and very safe.

A great place to stay! Richard was very accommodating when I had to delay my stay by a couple of weeks due to illness. Room was tidy, warm and comfortable. I will be back, thanks!

Where to begin? I'll start with the room. Extremely comfortable bed. Good shower pressure. Very clean and tidy. Staff are more than friendly and welcoming. Richard the owner is amazing. Has gone above and beyond to look after us during our stay. Never stayed anywhere like this where you feel like you're at home.

Excellent stop over on our way to Wellington.Our host had the made the room immaculate and with a good bed and large kitchenette everything was great.Some advice about where to eat in town (copper pot v-close and also great) and some hints on the route south where helpful.

I would 100% recommend this motel!!! Richard is absolutely amazing, a true gent! The girls who are in housekeeping are equally just as cool. Such a neat and easy going atmosphere, Richard makes beautiful dinners, and nothing is a problem. He also has a very good yarn. Also there is eastenders on BBC!!!! I'm definitely coming back! Richard is the most chilled fella out! Highly recommend.

Fabulous place to stay, very well appointed rooms, lovely and clean with aircon. We arrived about 6.30pm to a warm room on a chilly night, so inviting. Sandra made us feel so welcome would definately stay again.
