Quality of fruit and vegetables is terrible and they don’t seem to have a full selection where as other super market do. Paid for 6 months of delivery saver and think they got my order correct once in that time. Order was either wrong, missing something, damaged or rotten took all the convenience out of it having to ring them every time-olive was an absolute time waster too! I now drive from BBK to pak n save or if near Spotswood call in there. The Valley needs improvement.

Great deal in today's climate for easiyo yoghurtHeaps of good deals here if you shop smarter New Zealand,They have a tasty bakery section,Hot cross buns here are always on point when in season. The 40% chocolate biscuits are the best, with a good range of buns and breads. Usually get a decent bag of 6 rolls for burgers.Easy as self check out in and out under 5 minutes

Gosh every week prices of something goes up. It won't be only Countdown though. I'm a bit shocked at how much the staples cost on our once a week visit, and I use a list. Staff are always helpful. Last week pointing out a fresh fish special. This week helping me find a product. I hope they save the butchers jobs. I read there is a change coming.

Extensive range of products and the veges were fresh. However, take your own produce bags because none are supplied a real gotcha if you are new to town

Used to be amazing however the click and collect service offered is now nothing short of abysmalThis morning when I placed my order they were showing trays of 20 eggs, Farmer Brown both Caged and Colony (should they be the same price?) collected order, no eggsAlso ordered Schmako Straps on a good special, also not suppliedImmediately checked the site and it's showing stocks of bothRang the store to ask how this can be, they had no idea. Suggested I call Customer Services, they couldn't answer other than to say what showed on the site wasn't necessarily available. Weird, in this electronic business environment I understood stock adjustments were made at point of sale...Oh then, it must be the supply chain, it's only just past new year and deliveries won't be back to normal yet, sorry, it's nearly half way through January, I've worked in logistics for many years they'll be well back to normal by nowI'm really fed up with Countdown these days! Gone are the personal phone calls to say something isn't available and is it OK to substituteGone is the printed packing slip (in spite of me requesting it every week) with the smiley face and the personal note from the shopperCharges for paperbags when half of my order is loose in the trolley meaning that I'm paying between 50 and 75 cents per bag when larger bags are sold in the store for 20 centsPrices are extortionate, the local, smaller, privately owned Supervalue (same chain) can sell tomatoes at $6.99kg when big Countdown needs $8.49kg, salads are also 50 cents cheaperAlthough some items are more costly, guess where I'll be shopping in future. At least I'll know I'm not being robbed, and my custom is valued

In the store today. Bought a hot chicken. What's going on there, no more heatproof/leakproof bags. Told by a staff member that's how it is now and they are not allowed to help customers with any bags. Checkout lady also said yes, they do leak, not good for health and safety hot chicken in a normal bag.Bad customer service...customer service...
