Les Mills New Lynn

New Lynn LM is an amazing gym with great facilities and equipment. The professional and friendly team foster a great sense of community which makes everyone, whether a gym veteran or newbie, feel comfortable and welcome.

This and Victoria Street (CBD) are my favourite clubs. I never have to wait for an equipment to free up and the classes are amazing! I just wish it doesn't close until a bit later

Great gym, classes are always packed and instructors super energetic and positive. Nice to use the sauna too, wouldn't go to another gym.

Love this place so much, best vibes ever. Do wish it was open later because I struggle to make it in and out on time, especially on Fridays. But I’ll stick with them because the atmosphere and people are 10/10

Les Mills New Lynn is the best gym in New Lynn with fantastic equipment, the best range of Group Fitness classes and great facilities. The staff are overwhelmingly friendly and it feels quite like a family. They do a fantastic job of making all members feel welcome, including less fit members, members from many countries, rainbow members etc.

Les Mills is a gym for a diverse community in the fitness world. it doesn’t matter if you’ve been working out all your life or just started.Im a month and 2 weeks into my journey in the gym, when I first started I was scared and embarrassed I weighed in at 50kgs it has always been hard for me to gain weight mussels, good fat my goal was to bulk up to 95kgs I now sit at 87.9kgs I’m almost to my goal weight.Thanks Les Mills for the support and encouragement.

Love LM in general, but I like how the changing rooms and showers are bigger here. There seems to be more space and equipment too. Fav classes are pump and combat. Albert and Joe are great instructors and a asset to New Lynn Lesmills. Always a great class with those two in body pump!

I have said it before I will say it again. The sound levels at this particular gym are not very safe. It’s horrifically disappointing, because although I can put earplugs in and manage in a slightly less ideal way, now that I’m pregnant, I’ve had to quit altogether because of the sound issues. Growing babies at a certain point do have their ears and can perceive sounds. as such if there’s loud music while you’re pregnant. It has the potential to damage your babies hearing. The ear plugs that they provide because they refuse to deal with the sound problems, unfortunately cannot protect my baby so therefore I cannot longer go to the gym. Really bloody disappointing. Not very inclusive.

Les Mills (New Lynn branch) is the best gym in New Lynn in my opinion. I must admit - it is a bit on the pricy side. The gym also isn't 24/7 (closes 10 pm weekdays and 7 pm weekends) which can be frustrating if you have a busy schedule. You would assume that the membership would grant 24/7 access. However, there is lots of good equipment and machines. Very Clean facilities too. Sometimes in the evenings it can get busy so you might have to wait for equipment. Other than that, its a decent gym if you don't mind the extra price.
