Broadway Lodge Motel
Was greeted by a lovely, welcoming reception with her adorable dog. Rooms were lovely, she moved us to a better, newer room with more beds and a better kitchen! Beds were very comfy, bathroom had heated lights. Check in and check out care free, desirable location from city centre. Wasn't noisy, was a great stay! Recommend! :D

Great place to stay. Very clean and tidy. Quiet despite being on the state highway!Only one thing which is why I dropped one star - need to update their website while the spa pool is not usable.

Great location for visiting Taranaki, the motel was very clean, comfortable with a full kitchen which I loved as you can cook your own meals. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and also stay again.

booked 6 rooms for two nights two months in advance, one month out they call to let me know we cant stay there as it is now again emergency accommodation. Not good as there is no accommodation for the weekend we are there. Now have to find it out of Stratford. Totally furious they have done this. If ever back in Stratford would not book there.

Broadway Lodge Motel
After a day of trying to find a hotel in Plymouth we were running out of options before dark so went to Stratford. We were greeted by the nicest lady in all of of New Zealand who presented our room which had accommodations that more expensive hotels didn’t like our own oven, fridge, and even a living room. Plus the price was highly reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

Nice little place. Very clean and tidy and really good value for money. Shower pressure in the unit was pretty good (despite ready a previous review) the only thing I noticed was thinner curtains that could have done with a few extra cm to ensure they stretched completely across sliding doors/windows). The rooms inside are quite modern even though there is a touch of retro in the kitchen we stayed in. Certainly very functional. The hosts are helpful and I would definately stay here again.

Clean well laid out, owner is lovely. Wi-Fi was quick ish $130.00 NSD for a family room with a fridge oven cooker etc.
