Vivo Hair Salon & Skin Clinic Albany - Oteha Valley Road

Saw Jade last week and she was amazing, did such a nice job on my hair.

I went to Vivo after moving cities and needed a reliable salon. I have fairly short, thick hair, and went in for a full haircut which cost around $80.The service was great but overall I don't like my haircut. Halfway into the haircut the hairdresser told me she had never cut short hair before - which I should have probably been told at the start.Although I was happy with the cut in the salon, it has not grown out well. After around a week or 2, I have noticed it was not thinned out at all like asked, and some parts of my hair are thicker than others. I had advised the hairdresser of how I would normally have the back cut (shaven) to which she responded it would be too short. Now I seem to have a mullet-like style at the back already as a result of my thick hair.I don't doubt the excellent job these stylists do on longer haircuts, but I am quite disappointed with my cut for the money. I will probably look for a salon elsewhere.I don't really recommend for people looking for short cuts, or queer people like myself who are looking for a look that slightly deviates from gender norms.

Vivo staff members in Albany are all very warm and welcoming. I had Nadia who did a fantastic job on my hair. She listens very carefully and works efficiently to achieve what you’re after. Great work ethic and bubbly personality. Highly recommend her and this branch! :)

When I went to Vivo, it had been over a year since my last hair cut, so my hair was very dry and the colour was old and brassy. Jenny did an amazing job fixing it up. My hair feels super soft and she managed to get a much more subtle and natural colour which I absolutely love! Highly recommend!

I always enjoy my sessions at Vivo - and I've been going there ever since this store opened! The staff are always friendly and welcoming and know how to make a customer feel valued.

Love this salon and my stylist Nadia. She's really sweet, always does a fantastic job and goes the extra mile to make it a relaxing, pampered time for me. Yesterday I got the Classic Balayage package and I'm so happy with it. Prices are very reasonable compared to other salons I've been tried in the past. Highly recommend Vivo Albany and Nadia.
