Gibbston Valley Bike Hire

I like this activity especially if when you want to do something together with your family or friends.

We were a group of 3 girls and we took 3 bikes for a bike ride from gibbston valley to arrowtown. It was just amazing. Axel, the bike centre manager was so helpful and friendly. We definitely recommend this place to hire some bikes. We will be back for sure.Thank you again Axel and Gibbston Valley!

Amazing location and idea but very poorly executed . The bikes available for hire are terrible quality bikes and not suited at all for the ride. The seats are incredibly hard/uncomfortable and bikes have no suspension . The track is couple hours or more of riding a bumpy gravel dirt track and by the end of the day I was very sore. Not to mention the tyres are semi road tyres with barely any grip, they need proper dirt/grippy tyres. not very safe when ur literally biking on loose gravel and dirt on the side of a very steep cliff into a river. But the French guy running the shop was the worst . Iv heard the stereotypes before but wow this guy was just so so incredibly rude it was unbelievable . I couldn’t believe the way he was acting to us and other customers and the way he treated us . My recommendation is hire a bike with suspension from one of the other winery’s down the toad

Good set of bikes and riding in the local trails is fun.

Top notch service, Axel is a legend …drove to pickup cyclist who couldn’t continue…such care.The customer service and pre-booked price was excellent.Highly recommend great track to Arrowtown and back - great team there from ladies inside bar who gave us with details days prior, to both guys who helped on bikes. I had a wonderful time biking through the wineries and amazing scenery! The main reason I wanted to give this 5 star review is due to my bus driver, Yuko, who was absolutely wonderful. She was such a positive, professional and fun person who was so helpful with renting out the right gear for me. Don't let her go anytime soon, she is an amazing asset to your company. Rented e-bikes from here so we could bike the Gibbston wine trail. The guy working was so nice and helpful, gave us some recommendations of places to go. We got a good deal on our rentals and the bikes were amazing for the hilly sections of the trail.
