Else Carden demonstrated great skill and professionalism in restoring a painting with smoke damage caused by a house fire. Thanks to her restoration work we now have a beautifully restored artwork.

I have an oil painting that has sentimental value has been in my family for many years. While painting my walls I got splashes of paint on it and was worried it was beyond repair. I was so pleased to find someone of Else's experience and felt comfortable entrusting her with the painting to restore it. She did a magnificent job, was excellent in communicating with me throughout the process and discovered some unknown things about where the painting originated that I didn't know. Else is an artist in her own right in the magnificent work she does!

I have a portait of my mother-in-law which apart from being very beautiful is very dear to me. The portrait was painted by Will Halewijn and I was worried that I hadn't looked after this properly. When I heard of Else I felt comfortable about asking her advice. Else was brilliant and checked and cleaned this art work for me and I am so happy with the result.

Els did an incredible restoration of an heirloom oil painting which was badly damaged by sea water.She did a meticulously good restoration with amazing sensitivity and detail to the artists techniques. I was more than satisfied and would recommend her highly.

Else is a skilled restorer who has done a wonderful job on old oil paintings that I sell via my vintage and art business. She also takes time to research the provenance and authenticity of works, which I very much appreciate. I would not hesitate to recommend Else for any art restoration that needs care and attention.
