The Salvation Army is a great place to go if you need some assistance with a variety of things from help with essential items in the way of food, financial mentoring, counselling and activities for youth and the whole family. I highly appreciate there help and recommend anyone to call in and see how Salvation Army can assist them.

needed FOODBANK --- walked 2hrs 40 mins ohaupo rd - london st, hamilton one way :( 12th march 2020 got there 11:31 am ! told we are closed" . i was 1 min late 1 min ! turned away YES others still sitting waitn to be ceen YET I GOT TURNED AWAY crawled back home 3 hr 20min it took me . i am old i have illness

Amazing non judgemental place to go when your in need of help I was treated with such respect and felt alot better about reaching out for help.This organization has alot of areas where they can offer help food, housing,drug and alcohol help

Fantastic coffee made by the lovely gentleman.Thank you to the other male staff who showed true support for food parcel much appreciated and there was so much I was able to feed another family so that none of it went to waste. Thank you to all the staff for their tireless efforts to support anybody and everybody you are all very much appreciated for such a fantastic organisation. I was even able to afford some bibs and bobs tofrom their second hand shop that came in handy for the food. Like a casserole pot. I may not had the money to buy groceries but I had a little spare to go towards the second hand shop that has amazing support community. Thank you once again for all being super heroes. So far with the food I received I've been able to make.Homemade fries with peas and gravy spaghetti Bolognese, and a variant of butter chicken. Not one piece of food has gone to waste . Lots of cooking going on on the kitchen it's amazing and exciting.With the cornflakes and Milo going to do some baking but I used up all of my flour from a friend who gave me food when I was strapped for cash. Maybe this week I could buy flour. Who knew I'd have so much joy baking and cooking and even being riske trying new dishes thank you once again for a new lease of life. All things great and small is appreciated

This place has gone commercial and forgotten what they're supposed to be doing, and that's helping the needs of the people in the now, not 48 hours time and told to make an appointment, disappointed

So greatful for this salvation army community ministries. From the friendly welcome smile to meet and greet me from Bianca, to home visit prayers, education courses, fellowship on a Sunday, a Bible study group, welfare support workers, budgeters, money management course, open community recovery church & councilling.Miss every individual in this place, I met so many new friends, I always hold dear to this salvation army and I am forever greatful to you all who have touched my life for the best. Actions speak louder than words and I am so priviledged to have met you all. Excellent speaker, holds ones attention and very thought provoking. Brass Band up to high stand. Talented pop style group; particularly appreciated guitarists gifted talent having played a guitar myself when I was young. Genuine welcome and interest given to all quite obvious.
