Tall Poppy New Plymouth, Taranaki

I have just bought a house in New Plymouth, which I absolutely love it. However, the process of buying and dealing with an agent from Tall Poppy, Sam Woods, was absolutely unprofessional, pathetic, and unpleasant.I have been pushed so hard by Sam Woods to make decisions without doing proper due diligence, to the point where I had to put her off. Then the next agent got involved, and she was okay with addressing all my concerns, but when it came to settlement, the experience was nothing but below the belt since Sam was handling the final process. I was informed by my lawyer that they had received confirmation that the sellers' lawyers had received funds as full and final settlement and had given instructions to release the keys to an agent & previous owner. I had to follow up with Sam for a couple of hours to get the keys, and eventually she said she was busy in a meeting and if you want keys, then do come and collect the keys from her, as she was at the food plaza on Liadert Street. The handover of the keys was like one key, and I guess the rest of the keys are in kitchen cabinets. Help yourself.I think this is highly unprofessional when you are an agent, where their role is a key for us (first-time home buyers) to trust them and believe them, as they are following the process and caring about both parties. Whereas Sam Woods was nothing but absolutely unprofessional and didn’t even congratulate or have anything to say about anything except take your keys!Just be aware, guys, when you deal with her when you are selling a property - you need an agent who represents you and your ethics - not an ego!
